  1. interior is done shy of clearing the dashboard
  2. I believe it was around 3/32" tubing
  3. Just finished waxing with Mequires cleaner wax, when I get some more bench time I follow up with deep crystal wax, followed by swirl-X then foil it. phil
  4. started polishing and thanks to 716 LAYIN LOW the wheels are done, might touch up the trim rings
  5. got some exhaust work done, painted after pics were taken phil
  6. thanks, I did the best I could with what I had available, still need to add a few hoses once installed.
  7. suspension is installed, wheels installed, and now ready to start the interior. Still gotta wetsand the body and repaint and clear the hood, fell on the ground when I cleared it so its being stripped. This will be the final ride height.
  8. sounds good to me, I'll email you a few days prior.
  9. I wanna replicate the 69 z/28 my dad had back in the late 70s /early 80s. The tires were raised white letters and read "uniroyal steel belted radial" anyone know of a tire or decal/dry transfer? phil
  10. got a little work in tonight, engine is nearly complete, just gotta paint the air cleaner. trim rings and lugnuts are painted, not sure yet what to do about the chrome bullet center caps phil
  11. Real car is painted pearl white with a salmon colored button tuck interior, fat whites and red steelies with chrome beauty rings and lake pipes. Gonna use the custom catalina interior. It has a 409 but mostly stock under the hood and real clean. Just painted on Saturday, still needs to be cleared.
  12. well, per the advice of others I dug through my spare tires. building mostly lowriders I don't have too many muscle kits but heres what I found, firestone F70/15 fronts and goodyear L60/15 rears, the best I can don the rear are about 3/32" taller
  13. nice, where did the wires come from?
  14. are we talking 1:1 scale? I only have the one set but you can find them for a decent price on ebay
  15. thinking about changing up the wheels, either gonna use these pirated from a 67 gtx kit or a better set of rallies from a 69 camaro kit
  16. looking good, gonna make Mr. Obsessive jealous j/k
  17. thanks, shes getting up there in miles (248,500) but still goes. I'm pulling a lot of ideas from my dad, his monte had chevy rallies he robbed from his 69 z28 after planting it between two trees one new years eve.
  18. looks better layed down, didn't get high enough to look like hydraulics so its all good
  19. thanks man, the last time I was able to ride my lincoln "locked up" before I cut the rear springs last summer. I have an onboard compressor/gauge switch panel, shocks are rated at 150 max psi but I used to run 170. now she rides layed down
  20. I wasn't happy with the old shocks so I built some new ones, their a little taller. better ride height
  21. swwweeeetttttt
  22. looks fine to me
  23. the front will use the stock spindles, the rear will surely be higher as I will be making new springs, the tires are g70/15 which I believe are basically a 235/75/15, I got the idea from an old pic of a 71 monte my dad had in 79, he had the same tires and the rear was up up and away. He once told me he ran an air line up under the front seat so he could hurry and lower it if he got stopped by flashing lights
  24. I put them on my lincoln when I was doing newspapers, now that I quit them, I have cut out a full coil in the rear and I like to deflate them and lay out the rear
  25. thank you, I plan on running lines out under the rear bumper too
