Thanks guys! Just noticed that my passenger vent window didn't set up right, darn it.

This is the older release of this kit, 98-99 maybe, directions say copyright 1998 if that means anything. Waited and waited for Revell's reissue but gave up when Hobbico filed for bankruptcy. Just bought the new release last week and used the black Daytona stripe from the new kit as the old kit decals fell apart when trying to use them. Also used the new kit red lines as the old kit tires looked like a drunken sailor printed the old ones. (LoL- that's what Mr. Obsessive had stated in an earlier post). Will be building the new kit as the stock car. Painted Tamiya Candy Lime Green, missed the factory color I was going for, but I like the way it turned out anyway. First pic is color I was going for.....

This is my LaFerrari I started late last summer, a Hobby Lobby discount kit and my first exotic build. It was actually the oldest kit in my stash. Painted with Tamiya Silver Leaf out of the can and used their clear over that. A nice kit all in all.

Hey Pat, did you use the GTX interior tub or did you use the Charger interior with the separate door panels? -
Very well worth the wait! Simply stunning!

Questions on kit bashing AMT's 74 Plymouth GTX

Thanks Tim. I will be using the 440 that came with my 71 Charger ( the Dirty Donny edition ) and most likely will order some decals from Keith Marks. I'm planning on cutting the rear seat inserts out of the 74 and replacing the inserts in the 71 interior and using the buckets from the 74. Definitely will be an on and off again project. Thanks for your help, greatly appreciated! -

You've done a superb job on this one, two tone paint really sets it off. -

Beautiful build! I finished this kit up a couple of years ago but my decals were unusable, yellowed and brittle. Is yours a recent build?

Sharp looking build!

Hey guys, working on the AMT Plymouth GTX and am using the 71 Charger chassis, engine and dash. My question is should I use the interior tub from the GTX kit or will the built up interior from the Charger kit work? If anyone here has done this conversion could you shed some light on how you went about it? This is a first for me so any advice would be appreciated. Heres a pic of the GTX KIT.........

I will certainly agree! And that's 28 quality builds for sure.

Very cool!
