I've had great results with the one coat laquers and also the Model Master laquers but only use the flat colors in their enamel. I have had to many cans of their enamel hemorrhage paint out and drip all over the floor. Pretty much have switched over to Tamiya paints for all builds now.
I would like to retire at 62 but I'm not sure if I would be able to get insurance before Medicaid/Medicare kicks in. Had a heart attack and triple bypass at 55 so I'm not sure if anybody would be willing to insure me or how costly it would be. Oh well, still have four more years for before 62.
Just wondering if Rust-Oleum has always manufactured Testors paint or is this something fairly new. I hadn't noticed in the past and don't recall reading anything about it here, but I could have missed it. Picked up several cans this morning at Hobby Lobby and just happened to notice.
Picked this one up super cheap at Michaels a while back as a slump buster while I'm stuck on three other builds.
Paints is Model Master Classic White with Tamiya clear. I need to go back and fill in the panel lines and I don't think I'll use the Molotow pen again for wheel opening moldings as it is rather unforgiving.
Hey Rich, I was hoping someone would answer that knew exactly, but I do believe it has something to do with the block or piston configuration of this particular V8. The decals were kit supplied so I just used them.
