  2. It looks great! Stunning work! Jay
  3. I`m planning on building a Pro-Touring `68 Charger, but I`d like to see other Pro-Touring cars (or trucks) to know what type of chassis I should use, engine and suspension mods, etc... So post any Pro-Touring model you`ve got, it would be very helpful for my build. Thanks! Jay
  4. I am way too young to have watched these episodes on Sundays, but I have seen one episode. Great build! Jay
  5. I have never seen one of these, but I like it. Jay
  6. That is one awesome truck! You'll never see another one like this anywhere else. Jay
  7. And a few more Thanks for looking! Comments are always welcome! Jay
  8. Been working on this one for a while now. It started off as the Revell 1977 GMC Wrecker, but that thing has a moulded-in engine and it's only RWD. This is why I converted it to 4x4. But I also wanted it to be a truck built for hauling parts and trailers. This is where the flatbed comes in. As for the moulded-in engine, I replaced by the Revell 1968 Charger's 440 big block. Here it is!
  9. I'm really sorry for the long wait guys. The truck has been finished for a while but I couldn't get the pictures to work. I fixed the problem with that, so here is the finished product! Thanks for being so patient! There are more pics in the under glass section! Jay
  10. Well, checking in for this month. I haven't worked on the 3100 yet because I'm still finishing up other builds, but I will get to it soon. I'm seeing great builds here. It's going to be a tough competition. Jay
  11. It's been a while since I got any progress done to it that was worthy of showing, but now I worked on it enough to show you guys. It's not finished yet, but I'm getting pretty close. More engine detail: Painted the exhaust: More pics to come. Comments are always welcome. Jay
  12. I got to work on my entry a little because my current build was kind of put on hold, as you can tell from the background. I scratch built part of the suspension today. I only made leaf springs, no shocks yet. I also want to detail it with U-bolts, steering, and torsion bars. The wheels and tires are from the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon kit, and so are the axles (both Dana 44s). It will be very high. There are a lot of awesome builds here. Nice work everyone! Jay
  13. Thanks guys! "What happened?!?" is probably the question on everyone's lips right now: The answer is this: I took the engine back out because I decided to wire it and the engine bay for detail. Still need to detail other things, but I'm making steady progress. Thanks for looking! Jay
  14. Thanks but, that's not what it actually is. It's just shadow from the mirror not being flat. (Bad Molding)
  15. No problem!
  16. This was a truck that I wanted to build for a very long time. It started off as the USA-1 Monster truck kit and inspiration from videos I had seen. Mods: -Tractor tires -Custom exhaust -Custom bumper -Some wiring -Some bodywork (The hood had a hole in it for the blower) The kit included the stock engine parts, so that's what I decided to use instead of the blown, triple-carb setup it originally had. It's about 97% done. I still need to add the brake lines, touch-up some paint, and maybe wire the fog lights and battery. But other than that, it's done! I chose to call it "Cheese Bogger" because I was at an off-road/mudding event and when I went to get some hot dogs, I noticed that they had written Cheese Bogger and Ham Bogger on their menu. And that's where the idea came from. Thanks for looking! Jay
  17. I haven't worked on it yet, but I got the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon kit and started mocking up the truck. I think I might paint it olive drab for it to look like a military truck, but plans might change. Even though it is more than 30 years old, I still want to make it RHD, you know, because it will make it more "Aussieball" worthy. Still, plans might change, but so far, that's what it will look like. Can't wait to start working on it! Jay
  18. Thanks guys! For the body I used this: I shot 2 coats of it and then sprayed 2 more coats of clear. P.S. I could have told you what paint I used but it's easier for me to just show you.
  19. Thanks, and I will keep posting!
  20. Thanks Gator! And it's true, because I got a mini professional airbrush this Christmas! I might actually buy a semi pretty soon, because you're very right. I probably would do a nice job on it. Thanks again Gator, and everyone else too! Jay
  21. Thanks. I just used ordinary crafting popsicle sticks that I bought at the arts and crafts store.
  22. I worked on it some more and added a few details to make it a little more unique. I added a winch and tow hooks to get a more aggressive and trail-ready look out of the bumper.I also added the 440 decals from the '68 Charger and painted the diff cover red. Here are two pics of the front axle. One with a light and one without.Feedback appreciated! Thanks for looking! Jay
  23. I worked on the stack a little and added a few more details.
