No, only the AMT Roadster I picked up at the Park & Swap for $5. Looked like a good deal if both parties are good, then good is good. I've been thinking about this kit and the Sedan Delivery ( which I believe, is actually a Panel truck) for awhile. When I was in college way back in the sixties , I had a friend that had a '32 Chevy with a small block 283. What was amazing was most of the rodded parts pretty much exchanged with no welding. Basicly everything just bolted right up. Chevy didn't change much from year to year. The engine / tranny bolted right in, rear end swapped out , juice brakes ,same holes. great little hot rod. Well you know how it goes, can't have the real thing , build a model. Now, to find one of those Panel bodys. or maybe I'll just do a roadster ( with the cabriolet body)

Looking at the parts spread I found on line they look the same. AMT MPC wouldn't copy The AMT I have is just like this Stock and Hot Rod.

Another question. What's the Gang Buster kit like ?

Just picked up an AMT 1932 Chevrolet Cabriolet. and was wondering if the MPC version was the same kit? Yeah, right, open em both up and see. I only have the one AMT kit.

The few new rereleases of some old kits I've just opened, thinking of those good old days with the same kits only to be dashed by the sight of the kits being molded in a color other than what I remembered back in the day. To be more specific, two rereleases of some old Renwall military kits expecting the original olive drab color. I know there is an overwhelming cry for neutral colors i.e. white or gray, but when your nostalgic bent is on seeing the color you remember as a child building these kits, it gets emotional. At least it does for me. The recent release of the MPC Petty 1/16th Charger was a BIG disappointment not being shot in clear. I remember the AMT '36 Ford Coupe / Roadster ( yeah, I know, it's not really a roadster) being gray. My first encounter with the AMT '34 Ford Pick Up was a light blue. I know here on the board this kit has been released in just about any color one can imagine. But it was blue for me.

Let's get back on track here guys (and Gals ) Goin' away . . . now how about a little competition Round2 ? Don't you have this in your stash? Dig it up rewrap it, in say a tasty Comp Coupe style box art to do battle with Revell / Monogram ? and we know you still have some of these : Yeah, I know, same kit. But still, a little competition ( get it? ) wouldn't hurt. Mmmmm tasty and you both have this body. How about a great little 2in1 kit ? Bantam Roadster/Coupe kit ? What's this ? Somebodys gonna love this one. With Wayne style Heads no less. ???

Ok, lets see who among us has really built one of these subs. What did you find on one of the bulkheads that prompted you to get out your magnifine glass ? No, it's not the crewman at the periscope.

Just got back from Tucson and their great hobby shop at ACE Hardware across from my alma mater Palo Verde High School (class of '65). Picked up some Pegasus wheel sets, WOW! those are great. Got the Chromed Reverse rims and the Supremes. Had to go back for more. Tires were ok too.
