  1. You're on the right track, two Nailheads, but not M/T.

  5. Sad story with a happy ending. I'm sorry for your loss Andy. Godbless.
  6. Lindberg did a bunch as well as MPC
  7. Monogram Sizzler Dragster, reputed to be in the 1/20th scale range. With a HEMI and a Small block Chevy and lots of induction choices.
  8. No, no ,no all wrong, you ain't seen this then : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7EdQ4FqbhY
  9. that was a great web site, lots of pictures and the whole history right from the source no guessin', fussin', nor fumin' goin' on there.
  10. Naw, great build. Keep it like it is. Shows what you were doin' an thinkn' at the time.
  11. their ya go, we used the ol' "measuring stick" when I worked in a machine shop working on Space Shuttle parts.
  12. I was following the Galaxie releases as they came out thinking, Oh Boy the "Sizzler" will be their next release. All for naught. As lawyers are want to do, you'd think they'd see the difference between "Sizzler" and "SizzlerS". Slingster, sounds like some kinda gansta gun fighter.
  13. But have you looked at the engines? You could almost run them what with all the parts they had, cam, crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, etc. You ain't seen nothing like this in a plastic kit except maybe that 1/25th scale 427 Ford, oh yeah, that was an Aurora kit as well.
  14. My son said he was "contracted" to one more album by the studio and he gave them the Metal Machine as a protest. "Here's your album" I'm outa here.
  15. Well wherever it came from it really sets it off. Great combination. I think that kit has great potential but you really have to come up with the right combination and Richard you did it.
  16. no more than an opinion like everyone else. and you can add Hendrix and Joplin (Janis ) to the list of "dang, ain't got a hit" Jim fared a little better.
  17. and obviously music either.
  18. Yep, much more that what;s on the charts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-Vy4VRRO30
