I had this one because it was my second for real 1:1 car in college. Had to get the Sprite too just to get the right wheels.

So what's YOUR take on these kits CJ ? The cheep, by any standard, " Forty Niners". Wasn't much to ;em was there ?

There were also some missiles reissued a few times.

Man, these suck ! What was wrong with the old clear wheels ? I was looking forward to BMF a set. Yeah right . But anything would be better than what they did give us. I know some one made a PE wire wheel setup for front engined dragsters awhile back. But i can't find anything on line.

I've been waiting for this kit for a good long time. I have parts and kits enough to make a few of the old kits. I'm at a loss to say how I feel about the clear front spoked wheels. I did see where some one BMF a set and it did come off quite well. But looking at the new kit I have to wonder how many steps back we just took? Any thoughts on the lovely wire wheels in the new Slingster ?

I saw a 3d printer in the Microsoft store last week for around $2000.

Baffles the mind. After all the talk about getting the most out of said molds here we see obvious evidence that "they" the powers that be, nee "the bean counters" can and will do just about anything.
