  1. I love the clear body's. I collect them. I was really looking forward to this issue.
  2. But what if I don't want it in that place? I think human nature being what it is people will naturally look at the top of the page, board, thread or what ever. With the top subject being "General" what do you expect? I have to agree, sometimes things get buried in other threads down the board. Thus people want them on top where they will get read and receive a response. It's only human nature. And I don't have a problem with Administrators and Moderators being involved in a thread but seeing them pull rank gets old.
  3. Round2 is doing a '36 Ford coupe again. I wonder which one, 3window or 5window ? Like to see the 3window chopped top version with all the kool kustom parts.
  4. "People are free to post any thoughts they may have without worry." I thought that was what the general section was for.
  5. "UP" top included http://round2models.com/models/amt/1962-corvette
  6. http://round2models.com/models/amt/1962-corvette and it has an "UP" top.
  7. This sounds about right.
  8. So reading through all this I gather this will simply be a cleaned up reissue of an older kit with the correct parts (wheels I.E.) replaced. ?
  9. I really think it's a big kit thing. Do you like them? Do you have room for them? Other wize, yes, it's a great kit. Lots of room for detailing. Do your home work. The detail parts included are worthy.
  10. I've got two shells but I don't remember where they came from (resin) but I still need some Grill inserts in 1/16th scale. Can anyone help ?
  11. I know there out there , but does anyone do a sheet of them as opposed to buying them one at a time ?
  12. That's a hot build. Got any plans for the new release "Rat Roaster" ?
  13. Interesting kit ? Worth Buying ? You'd have to ask your self if you are really into 1/16th scale kits, or if you have the room to display such a kit when finished. Then you might look at the instructions http://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/instruction_sheetsh/instruction_sheets/mpc-5/mpc-petty-nascar-ch/001.html and answer that question for your self.
  14. I built this kit for my son, he has a 2006 1:1. It seems to be a basic redo of a diecast kit in plastic. It went together rather well no flash or fit problems.Hood opens to show basic motor detail. I did it right out of the box with a little detail painting. Good value for the money. I got mine a few years ago at Hobby Lobby (40% off coupon). Check E-Bay.
  15. you're lucky, the body wont be clear so no one will see you'
  16. Interesting find on another board. Looks like all releases and colors of plastic have warping issues. http://www.cglfc.com/wforum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=24689&start=15
  17. So in all reality we've been duped. Take one Dukes of Hazzard kit build without the body add the body from either the red or black street Charger ( you'll have to rely on your model building skills here) filling in the hole in the hood. Oh yeah, you'll have to switch out those nasty Dukes wheels for the NASCAR wheels and tires in the black kit. Now you have your Grand National Stock Car with out that nasty ol clear body.
  18. Almost forgot this one
  19. How many years and reissues of the "Visible V-8" have we seen? The "Visible Man" ? "Visible Woman"? Monograms "Phantom Mustang" ? Tamiya's "Clearview" series ? Monograms "Visible" B-17 kit ? how many other engine kits with completely CLEAR features ? I find this rather puzzling. http://robdebie.home.xs4all.nl/models/visible-engines.htm
  20. It will be released in an opaque Petty Blue instead. Let me be the first to say: "This Blows!". I've been waiting since the late seventy's when I walked on a $100 kit at a local swap meet.
