  3. It's as good as the Gasser book. His next book on Diggers and Funnycars too.
  4. Have you seen his other books ? There are about 7 in the series.
  5. After a thought on the Gasser book I was thinking , my reference library rivals my kit collection, and again as much if you count the airplane books.
  6. I always thought a kit from each member of the family (wife, son, daughter) would be neat, just to see what their prospective of me and the hobby are. Never happens. " You have too many!" I can ask my son for anything specifically and he'll get it for me. I did get a Monogram '40 Ford PU from a nephew, quite a few years back. The one I remember most though, was in 1961, seeing the Monogram BIG T under the tree.OH BOY !
  7. Notice the clam on the face of the driver
  8. ball joint spacers were a popular substitute.

  15. I thought we were talking about the Revell 1:12 scale R.M. Choppers series. must be slow on the draw.
  16. http://www.crosleycars.com/italmeccanica.htm The SCOT blower
  17. What was inaccurate about them ? I've never built one, don't own a H-D much less any of these kits, but I got the impression they were well received.
  18. This is a topic I'm sure we'd all be interested in, with many questions to go with it. How many kits come out of one shot? How do they get the trees from molds to chrome plating? How do all the trees come together in the box? How are different parts added or taken away from different trees? How are the molds made? etc.
  19. http://www.uncommonengineering.com/ Check these out, and in a Hudson too.
  20. Let's stick a real blower on that sucker !
  21. Having built a few in the past and seeing detail kits available now, I'm starting to rethink my approach.
