  1. Welcome Chris! Looking good!
  2. CRAZINESS!!!!!!!!!! That's just beautiful Dave! That color is awesome! It looks close to the Wallace paint you did....fantastic!
  3. Aw Shucks......LMAO!
  4. I agree on both aspects!!!!!
  5. Dave, you're killing me!!!!! That is GORGEOUS! One of my top 3 favorites of all time!!! We used to race Big Wheels down a hill when we went on vacation, and I used to spray paint mine blue and yellow cause that was Dale's colors.... laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif I want more!!!!! Jamie
  6. Looks great man! Keep it going! I slab sided an Earnhardt Lumina a while ago, and I must say it was the most effective mod I've done......
  7. LOL, Nuts is not the word!!!
  8. Well Mr. Thibby........... I stand corrected... and that thing is SPECTACULAR! I been waiting a long time to see this and I AM BLOWN AWAY....! The stance, the wheels, the paint and shine all came out great Dave! I love it!!!!!!!
  9. Very interesting! I've never seen anyone do that before...very cool!
  10. I've also heard that WD40 works. I personally have nevber tried it, but hey...ya never know....
  11. Tom, that looks FANTASTIC!!!!! I saw this in the other place, and I am still amazed when I look at it! Keep it going! Jamie
  12. Anthony - nothing for nothing, but the amount of time and energy to re-create a COT from a previous generation NASCAR would be like trying to make a 1970 Camaro from a '69. People would most likely not try that, and would rather wait till a 70 was molded. Now, people have tried making the COT from other cars before the resin came out, and they looked ok... Me personally, I would like to buy the resin. Also, as you may know, Nascar builders build many of the same make and year. I couldn't imagine having to scratch build 7 or 8 COTs....! Just my 2 pennies as well.... Jamie
  13. I don't know which one I like better! Fantatsic job on both Dave!
  14. Dave, that dash looks awesome! The ignition plate looks dead on, man.... And the clear plexiglass showing the wires is an awesome touch! Just unreal man. Unreal. Why don't you stop by the NNL East so I can see it better??? Wink wink, nudge nudge...... Looks great Dave!
  15. HAHAHA! Yeah I was thinking of brushing off my Rat Rod the other day. A nice shade of primer should get them looking here... I'm really tempted to get the Ford too......But I bought a set of Wrangler Decals off that site I told you about. $44.... But they are in scale and I REALLY didn't feel like building a STP car. No offense...lol
  16. I was just asking you about this one Dave! Looks great! Funny you mentioned the suspension because I was nervous about that. I was thinking of building mine with the wheels off and detailing the brakes and such, just to avoid the ride height! Yours, as always, looks top notch!!! Jamie
  17. Nice work Billy, you've sure improved since the "old days".... Just remember, don't pick this one up and toss it around at NNL East.... Nice details Billy! Jamie
  18. That came out fantastic! Very clean..........
  19. you might also want to spray a couple of light coats <LIGHT COATS> of clear laquer on the sheet and let it dry before you put them in water. I've had to do that with Slixx flourescent decals.......worked fine....basically, the clear coat holds the decal togther. That's what the guys who print on ALPS printers do....
  20. Very cool collection Billy!! I didn't realize you had that many..........very cool bud......Ya did good!
  21. Very nice build! I remember looking at a picture of Bobby Issac and thinking, "That's a crazy comb-over!" The car looks great, nice detail....
  22. Jack Ingram, probably one of the best Busch Series drivers of all time. Whoops, I meant "Nationwide" Series. LOL. Please....
  23. Very interesting Billy...very interesting. I have seen that car, in reference, not built though. I have that car on my list of to-do's. That's a fantastic idea about the challenge. The only thing for me is building time. I doubt I would get it done in time for NNL. Two kids and two jobs will do that to you..!!! I will try my best to get it done, but I offer no promises..... I have to think of what you should build. You should do one of the Tide cars.....You choose, cause you probably have every sheet made!!!! Here's a sheet I just bought the other day..... I also have the sheet you're talking about. Maybe I'll do them in tandem!!!!! Jamie
  24. Yeah Bud! I was going to ak you how you did the other day on this......coming along nicely I see! Keep it up!
