This is one of those builds that was never originally planned but turned out great in the end. I originally bought the kit to rob it of the Jimmy 6cyl to put in a slingshot dragster (pics in the show us your dragsters thread). One day I was bored and decided to try chopping the top on the cab for practice since I had no intensions of actually building the kit. The chop turned out great so I decided to pancake the hood. With all the body mods working together I decided to actually finish it as a slammer. Paint is Colors by Boyd Lime Green Pearl over dark grey primer. Moon tank from the parts box and wheels/tires from the AMT Concord snap kit. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki

Its amazing how much time you spend on all the little details, yet it seems like you aren't getting anywhere. Hosted on Fotki Radiator and trans cooler mounted and plumed. Hosted on Fotki Rear brakes fully plumed, battery mount made and battery cut off made. Hosted on Fotki Close up of cut off switch. Hosted on Fotki Fire wall made. Scratch built brake pedal assembly and throttle linkage.
