  1. Love this version of Christine. I build my CHristine from the Belvedere kit and put the whitewall tires from the Revell 49 Merc Custom on the kit wheels and blackwashed the hubcaps.
  2. I really enjoyed your videos you posted on this build and I went and bought this kit as soon as I saw your first video. I agree when you said the rear wheels were a little shallow, so I made the rear wheels deeper and I shaved just a little bit off the rear "spring" area (not very much.) Love your pics and your videos man. Cliff
  3. More pics from earlier showing bumper deletion.
  4. I worked on the interior today. I had to do a lot of cutting, filing and shaping just to get the Mustang Ricaro seats and center console. Now it's in...whew! I also filled the holes for the front and rear bumpers. Also made a small pan for the rear. May not be the best, but I'm learning. Take a look. Hopefully it will kinda like this. This was sort of the inspiration. Credit goes to whoever drew this design.
  5. I like it. I tried to find an intake for mine in my parts boxes, but ended up just using the intake and carbs from the kit topped with the air cleaner provided too.
  6. I love your version. Where did you get the intake and air cleaner?
  7. Nice! I love these big Chevys. Good job!
  8. Here is my finished version of the Torino.
  9. I got the Revell 2013 Boss 302 Mustang, some sheet styrene, green putty and plastic strips and primer. Was going to get started on big thangs, but now I feel sick. I did make a front and rear pan (of sorts) for the Boss Torino though...thats something I guess, right?
  10. The hearse I've been working on. I call it the Last Ride.
  11. I love this Cutlass and the color. It reminds me of the cars my uncles and my brother had back in the day. I have a black 75 Cutlass in my collection on my shelf.
  12. Can't wait to see the progress on this. I was checking out the T Bird kit at my hobby shop, but put it back. Would love to see how this goes for you. Good luck. Cliff
  13. I hear you Steve. I am new here, but I have been building since the mid 90's on and off.
  14. Here is the Revell Starsky and Hutch Gran Torino. This is this the first of two Torinos. I built it MOSTLY out of what was inside the box. I added wiring to the motor, but I didnt do too much to it. The rear wheels didnt seem deep enough to me so I remedied that by making them more like the tv car. I love the Revell 49 Merc kit. The trim rings work NICE for deepening shallow wheels. Take a look, and let me know what you think. Also, check out my Boss 302 Torino I currently working on in the on the bench section. Deep rears...thanks 49 Merc kit On the trailer Starsky and the Boss
  15. It comes with an automatic transmission. The 302 I'm putting in is manual. I love this kit. I really couldnt wait for it to be released, and now I am thinking of purchasing my 3rd.
  16. Thanks Man. I really appreciate it. The hearse is the JoHan Heavenly Hearse. I picked it up from a box of built cars from a Model contest in October. It was stock when I bought it and half done. I am finishing it as a lowrider. I will put up pics of it some time when I am not working on the Torino. Thanks for looking and telling me your thoughts. Cliff
  17. I LOVE the sleeper look of this. You would think it's just a weathered beater sitting on the table until you open the hood and look underneath. Lovin it.
  18. I think the wheels and tires look great. I also like the long low stance. Looking good.
  19. Thanks Jeff. I wanted to add the modern 5.0 to the torino since I built old Starsky, but I wanted to keep that MOSTLY out of the box. I may post a separate post for the S&H car too. This one I want to try different things and stuff I have not tried before. Not sure if the paint will go on anytime soon, but I will do as much as I can and post up all my progress. I am very excited to get the Boss Torino moving forward. Take care and Happy 2016. May the new year bring newer and better projects for us all! Cliff
  20. Thanks vc273! I plan to keep going with this and post up pics as soon as I make progress. This is my first time joining a forum and look forward to lots of feedback and tips. Take care and Happy New Year! Hopefully many more to come. Christmas and my b-day were great to me model car-wise. LOL
  21. I am using the stock chassis. I just shaved off the ends of the axles where the wheels glue in and there are towers that would typically be the coil springs on the real car. I just sanded and filed those down to get the rear stance. The front is also from the stock kit. I just cut the spindles and extended them up to drop the wheels up into the wheel wells. Can you let me know when you post up the Montego? I would LOVE to see that. Thanks for looking.
  22. I am working on my second Revell S&H Gran Torino, but this time it's not going to be box stock. I plan to make it the Boss 302 Gran Torino, I think. I am combining the Torino with goodies from the 2013 Boss 302 kit (i.e. 5.0 motor, modified kit wheels, interior etc.) Just starting this build. Please let me know what you think. I will post pics if anyone wants to see them. I have been building for years, but new to sharing in a public space and I am open to suggestions. Ilowered the suspension a little Compare to Stock S&H kit height
  23. I agree! I love Pontiacs. I would love to have a 73 Lemans in my collection. I had a 73 Luxury Lemans back in the "old days."
