beautiful work ismael.

i decided to start working on the new revell 55 chevy.i was inspired by the one lyle willits did a couple of months ago.mine will be a close copy of his.my model club also decided to do a 55 chevy build off which worked out .the tires are from the revell 64 chevy truck kit and the wheels are from the revell 49 mercury kit.not sure about the colors yet.i have it mocked up for now.more progress pics soon.

i finished this up several weeks ago.i shaved the door handles,rear hatch handle and the line down the center of the hood and the front nose.the paint is all testors lacquers(ultraviolet purple,hugger orange and sublime green for the stripe)the clear is tamiya.the interior is gray with light gray,purple and orange in the inserts of the door panels and seats.the wheels and tires are aoshima items.the rear wheels had a lip added to them from a second set of wheels to make them wider.thanks for looking

i finally finished this one.i cleared over the decals before i applied them so they would not crack or break apart.i built it box stock.i used testors high gloss clear.i like the old mongram drag kits from the 80's.i have a few more of the pro-stock and f/c kits i want to do later on down the road.thanks for looking
