nice work randy.i really like the cragar wheels and the stance.i like the color choice too.

i built this about 3 months ago when our club had a 24 hour build.we all finished our builds in 13 1/2 hours which was pretty good IMHO.the only rules we made was the kit had to be built box stock.i built the revell california wheels 2n1 chevelle kit.the paint and clear is duplicolor.the interior is painted krylon"make it suede"with the dash and console painted to match the car.i lowered it a bit to get the stance i wanted.i also painted the valve covers and air cleaner orange to match the engine.i had fun building this kit.our club is planning another 24 hour build next month.maybe we can beat our record of 13 1/2 hours this time thanks for looking.

i finished this about a month ago.built using the revell 55 hardtop kit.i lowered the suspension,the paint is testors hugger orange and duplicolor white.the wheels are from the revell 49 merc kit.the front and rear bumpers and tailights are from the amt 55 nomad kit.spotlights and tube grill are from the parts box inspiration for this build was lyle willits 55 mild custom he did awhile back.thanks for looking.

after a long delay, i got to paint the body last weekend.i painted it testors hugger orange lacquer and duplicolor white.i still need to clear the body.i hope to start painting and detailing the interior this weekend.

BRP resins has a 73 challenger too.i think they make the hood that landy ran on that car also.slixx also makes a dick landy decal sheet that has most of markings for that car.Southern Motorsport Hobbies carries BRP items.

i primed the body and started working on the motor.i decided to paint it orange and white.i will try to get some color on it this week.the engine is from the kit,valve covers are from the revell 37 street rod kit and the carbs are from the revell 49 mercury kit.i will use the air cleaners from the merc kit as well.next up is the interior.i will use the front and rear seats from the AMT 62 pontiac custom kit.i will graft the door panels to the interior panels just like lyle did to his .

nice work bud.you did a nice job on converting this one into a modern S/S dart.i like the details and the modern style hemi intake and valve covers.

i decided to start working on the new revell 55 chevy.i was inspired by the one lyle willits did a couple of months ago.mine will be a close copy of his.my model club also decided to do a 55 chevy build off which worked out .the tires are from the revell 64 chevy truck kit and the wheels are from the revell 49 mercury kit.not sure about the colors yet.i have it mocked up for now.more progress pics soon.
