    no.i glued the body together,cut out the cowl and filled in the seams.i did the body work,primed and painted it up.i put the engine in and glued the cowl back on.

    decon resin has a 76 formula conversion kit.i have one i bought to turn a AMT/MPC 77 trans am into a 77/78 formula.the hood fits fine to me.i plan on getting the keith marks decals.they look close enough to me.i'm gonna use the front nose to do a 76 trans am

    i used the same method bruno uses.i also weathered mine a bit with a tamyia weathering kit.you can get the same results with chalk or pastel colors.slixx has a vintage drag tire decal sheet.mine came from the parts box.i used the tires from the kit.here is a pic of mine i did last year.

    body work is looking good so far.are you going with a blown engine for it?

    i just finished this up for a 41 willys club build.i corrected the revell kit using slixx decals,removed the side trim off the body and added chrome trim to the fenders.the front wheels and tires are from the AMT 33 willys kit.i added plug wires to the engine.the paint and clear is all tamiya.thanks for looking.
