  19. i started on this one in the on the work bench section earlier this year as a full detail build,but decided to do it as a curbside build.started with a revell 66 elcamino.grafted the front end from the revell 67 chevelle kit.i added the tailights and rear bumper from the 67 chevelle kit too.the bumpers were done with alclad.the wheels and tires are pegasus chrome Ts 18s and 20s.the paint is tamiya black and red with tamiya clear polished out.i lowered it a bit.interior was detailed with revell 10' camaro ss seats,model car garage photoetched seat belt buckles and masking tape seat belts.the steering wheel is from the revell 37 ford and the dash was smoothed and JWTBM stock car gauges were added.thanks for looking. what i was shooting for as far as the look.the mothers 67 elcamino built several years ago. thanks for looking.
  20. i finished this willys last year,but i never posted here.i corrected the revell kit using slixx decals,removed the side trim off the body and added chrome trim to the fenders.the front wheels and tires are from the AMT 33 willys kit.i added plug wires to the engine.the paint and clear is all tamiya.thanks for looking.

  22. i haven't posted here in months.i finished this a couple of months ago for my local model car clubs' darkside stock car build.model king/lindberg 64 plymouth kit,powerslide decals,ppp wheels and tires,tamiya white and testors grabber blue lacquer.tamiya clear polished out.here are few pics.thanks for looking.
  23. after a unexpected move into a new place,i got a work bench set up to start back on this one.the body is in primer.i still have a lot of body work to do before paint.the kit engine has a freds resin workshop intake and carbs for a diffrent look.the headers were made from solder with aluminum tube for the collectors.holes for the reverse lights were cut into rear bumper.the bumpers will be painted with alclad.i hope to get it painted this weekend.more updates soon.
