  1. Excellent work, Brad! {as always} Superb solution to the axle and spring hanger problem!
  2. I was thinking it . . . but I wasn't gonna say it.
  3. OMG! Just when you think you've seen about everything!
  4. There are quite a few of them still on the road here, too, but you're not likely to see them in Paradise Valley and Scottsdale. Although an attorney friend of mine has one for a daily driver, set up Baja style. A lot of them are running around in very good condition, but "dolled up" in Baja prerunner form, jacked up with sand tires, extra lights, and roof luggage rack-mounted baskets, spare wheels/tires, and highjacker jacks. Still very popular.
  5. Facts outweigh third-hand eavesdropped gossip! What a concept. Most of us learned that in junior high school.
  6. Whoa! Here we go! Go for it, Ira!
  7. Actually, Scott, it's not 'we,' it's 'he.'
  8. Nice.
  9. Excellent.
  10. If you are referring to me, and I assume you are, since you are 'quoting' my post, rest assured, my feelings are not 'hurt.' You are not capable of hurting my feelings. And, no matter how much you try to bait me . . . and others . . . it won't work with me. PS: You should at least try to use only words you understand. sooth·say·er noun \-ˌsā-ər, -ˌser\ : someone who makes predictions about what is going to happen in the future Full Definition of SOOTHSAYER : a person who predicts the future by magical, intuitive, or more rational means

Nice. Looks familiar, like I've seen it before.
  12. In your opinion, perhaps. My point is just that you could say something nice about Aoshima, in your opinion, without taking a pot shot at another company.
  13. You couldn't compliment Aoshima without taking a cheap shot at and bashing Revell?
  14. Actually, not. Brian Wilson wrote the song with Roger Christian in 1963, inspired by a car Christian knew of from street cruising. "Little Deuce Coupe" was the "B" side of a single with "Surfer Girl" as the "A" side. "Little Deuce Coupe" was not expected to be a big hit, but when it went big, Capitol Records decided to do a 'car songs' album with "Little Deuce Coupe" as the title track. When Capitol Records was readying the "Little Deuce Coupe" album, they needed a dramatic cover photo, but nothing submitted to them by their cover artists excited them. One of the Capitol muckity-mucks saw the photo shoot from Hot Rod Magazine of Chili Catalano's coupe and obtained permission to crop & use one of the shots for the album cover.
  15. I actually LIKE the rear end treatment of that '61, although I would have brought the taillights down in an arc matching (parallel to) the arc of the fender/trunk lid brows. I like these, Russell!
  16. Interesting stuff. How'd I miss this thread before Greg bumped it?
