  1. Let me weigh in with the others: I like the color combination, too!
  2. THAT is superb!!! Beautiful job!
  3. Hot dang! Time to run to the LHS before Martinfan55 gets there! I just don't understand it. Of all the inconsiderate things to do ~~~ ever since my subscription ran out, they quit sending the magazine to my mailbox! Whazzzup wid dat?
  4. Older grasshopper? You got a baby picture in your pocket?

    32 Chevy

Beautiful model, Stefan! Perfect way to introduce yourself. And, as Harry said, your English is great ~~ Better than some of the American members, and a LOT better than 30% of the people who live and drive in my home state.
  6. When you gonna start an El Camino/Ranchero General Forum? I mean, after all, where are we supposed to post our ElkyRancho discussion, Car General Forum or Truck General Forum? And where's the Colonel Forum? Or the Major Forum? Or the Captain Forum? Or even the Admiral Forum? Wait! There's more, but the phone's ringing ... hold on a moment, Harry. [Hello? Oh, hi, Gregg! Huh? My room? I'M ALREADY IN MY ROOM! Okay.] Uh, Harry ... I'll get back to you.
  7. Very nice!!! Very nice!!!
  8. Hey! Harry, Start getting my keychain ready!
  9. Those KKM resin kits look very interesting! Anybody know anything about the quality and delivery time??
  10. Wasn't being critical ... just an idea. Like I said ~~~ i don't think it looks bad as it is. Flat lettering over a wheel arch is always going to look a little awkward. It's not you.
  11. Good job, Johnathan! Looks very good. The pushbar may be a little heavy for the Muttang, but it doesn't look bad. The AZ DPS marking schematic is a little awkward with cars smaller than the Tahoes, F150s and Crown Vics, but yours is just about how they would do it. Only thing the DPS shop might have done differently would be to lower the star slightly, run the horizontal stripe a little lower, and move the 'Highway Patrol' lettering toward the rear of the front fender to avoid the wheel arch. That's what they've been doing with the new Impala cruisers. Now we just need to get you enrolled in Danno's Advanced Academy of Antennae Assembly.
  12. Love those Studies!!! Good job.
  13. Hollywood Jim is back in Arizona and made the club meeting May 19 ~ in a big way. His "I Scream Truck" was voted 1st place in our monthly club contest ... the theme was "T's and A's" ... referring to Model T's and Model A's, of course! Jim's been a club member for many years, but we hadn't had the privilege of any of his models on the table for the past few years while he lived in Utah. Check out the club website's coverage: http://www.moonlightmodelers.com/05-May-2012.html
  14. Front end is looking very much like Darryl Starbird's 60's-era shop truck! Shaping up nicely.
  15. I would have posted a picture of my workbench, but I can't find my camera ... because it's somewhere on my workbench. Stand back ... I'm going in!
  16. HT USA in Gilbert, Hobby Bench 43rd & Bell, and Hobby Depot gets a few but sells out quickly.
  17. Tom! Kewl!!
  18. First time I've ever heard of a store having leftovers. Around here, the only places that carry MCM never have enough for the demand.
  19. Cool concept. Looks like this is gonna be a fun ride!
  20. OK. Just curious ... I have a '30 AA ... 55,000 original miles. Wondered if yours was a DoubleA, too.
  21. Oh, boy! Soon as I finish the curb feelers and granny bumperettes on my AMC Hornet, I'll send you some Kodaks from my Brownie!!
