  1. Beautiful, Tom!
  2. Harrison Ford tells him that.
  3. Nice, G! Let's go surfin' now, everybody's learnin' how.
  4. Love your wagon, Bob!!! Love it!!
  5. Nice, Mike!
  6. Awesome, Dude! Love that diorama, Rob!! What a dynamite creation ... and on a board! Whoa. Outasight!
  7. I double up with Dave. I LOVE CHAPARRALS!! This is a most excellent rendition!! Great job, Dave!
  8. Years ago, Steve Grissom's stepfather was a fellow firefighter and friend of mine. He followed the NASCAR circuit (the races Steve ran) and worked on his crew. I collected a couple of his die-cast cars, but never got around to getting any of them autographed! Very nice build, John!!!
  9. Still recovering from that 10k run?
  10. Who is to determine ... "on time" ... or "late" ... after all. Magazine cover dates are all over the chart. Some magazines are dated for two months after they hit the newsstands, some are dated for two before. Some models that appear in the most recent issues were built many, many years before the magazine photo was published. It's all relative. The first time I see any magazine, it's new to me. Don't get yer knickers in a knot.
  11. Actually, I misspoke. It's the '73 Polara I'd kill for! Can you say Walking Tall? [The original, not the Rock abomination.] And the '74-'75 Gran Fury. Them babies is what I'm talking about!
  12. Romell's thread reminded me that I scored one of my Holy Grails recently. Got a special deal (remarkable deal ~ incredible deal) from a really special guy! An unusual kit, I wasn't even aware of it until a few years ago. I have no idea what it's worth, but I've wanted one for a long time. I'm a happy camper! It's complete and unbuilt ... even has both halves of the engine are still separate! (No, it's not for sale.) But I'm curious ~~~~ is this a common kit and I was in a cave somewhere for too long ... or is it scarce? Let me know what you think. [image borrowed from one of those other auction sites (Blujay - never heard of it!). Thank you, Blujay!]
  13. Very, very nice, Pete!
  14. You handed me that one with a large ribbon and bow!
  15. Well, I personally think everything Harry does is just perfect!
  16. Amen, brother Johnathan! That 32nd scale effort was pretty crude ... I wouldn't want to see it larger. But we do NEED a '74 Monaco and a '73 Polara and a '69 Fury and a '68 Belvedere and a '72-73 Matador and a '71 Satellite and a '72 Coronet and a '75 Chevy Bel Air and a '77 Nova 4dr and a ... Ooops. Got carried away again.
  17. Hadn't thought of it quite that way, but ... 10-4!
  18. R&R makes an above-average '68 Plymouth Belvedere (close ... only 2 years off).
