  4. You might also contact ScaleFinishes and select the actual factory color. He sells in 1oz or 2oz bottles pre-thinned for airbrushing. Aerosol? I can't help you there. http://www.scalefinishes.com/ Excellent product; excellent vendor. (Emoticon indicating 'Highly Recommended' here.)

  15. Both are great looking models! But, it's interesting the differences from AMT to Revell; modeling the same subject, but coming up with different treatments. Interesting. (Emoticon indicating 'Very curious!' here.)
  16. Fantastic site, Bill! Thanks for sharing it. I've been engrossed in it ever since you posted it. Studying ... studying ... studying ... I've learned an awful lot that I never knew about my long-dearly-departed '64 GMC V-6 Widebed Heavy-Half! God, I miss that old truck! We spent 19 years together, hauling all kinds of gawd-awful stuff all over the dang place! (Emoticon indicating 'Dan's getting all emotional about one of his old rides again' here.)
  17. Here's the 1:1 Cosma Ray, designed and built by Darryl Starbird. This is the version John replicated: This is the box art for the MPC kit: Note that the MPC kit was based on the redesigned Cosma Ray (also by Starbird), but featured the multi-hued finish similar to John's model. 'Back in the Day,' There was even a trading card (ala baseball cards) featuring the Cosma Ray: I'm currently finishing up a replica of the Cosma Ray as it now appears in Starbird's museum, as well as a replica of the Cosma Ray as it appeared in its first customized rendition ... before it was christened The Cosma Ray.

  22. Or, you could just paint it purple and insist there actually was a purple one slightly visible in the background of a scene in episode #whatever, and besides, everybody should get over it, because you're just building it for yourself and you don't care if it's right or wrong because you're still building the most accurate GL replica ever ... (Several emoticons indicating LOL here.) (Emoticon indicating OMGNAGLT! here.) (Emoticon indicating 'Americans have got to learn to take a joke' here.)
  23. Very nice! (Emoticon indicating 'Very Nice!' here.)
