  1. Thank you very much for your friendly comments.
  2. Thank you! I've forgotten the Kenworth logos on side, now you can find it here: Kenworth KW 523 Bullnose Greetings, Michael
  3. Hello, this build was my first full resin conversion kit. It is not perfect but i like it. The donate kit was a Round2 Kenworth K123 COE and the conversion kit is from Illini Replica. Thanks to Bob for this beautiful cabin. I have implemented many ideas. The tanks, front bumper and the sunshade Visor are made with 0,3mm Aluminium Sheet, for mounting the hardware I use miyuki beads, the wheels are a combination of the rims from Dave Natale and Italeri tyres. All backlights and marker lights are from czechtruckmodel and the exhaust stack is a drinking straw. I found a real truck in internet which i like and tried to get as close as possible. Here's my adaption. Thanks to all for looking in and the best wishes to you, Michael
  4. Juergen, i did not notice your post of August 3rd, thank you very much, it's all clear now, i tried this on the two holders of the exhaust stack and now i know what i did wrong. I did wrap the wire only one time. My model is not as good as yours, because i did not work enough on the resin-surface. But it's okay for me, that was the first full resin kit that i build up. The next will get better (hopefully ). Greetings, Michael
  5. The final step, mirrors with BMF, mirror support of 0,6mm silver wire and antennas made of 0,4mm steel wire. The name on the door is the name from my stepmom. Hope you had fun to following the reporting of the build. See you soon 'Under Glass' Best wishes to all of you, Michael
  6. Looking really good Rob, nice work with the doors!
  7. Thank you very much Guys. I do a little bit more detailing the last days. Roof lamps and horns, the windshield wipers are made of 0,6mm and 0,3mm silver wire. Licence plates are made with the acme tool, cut off and paste on to a sheet which i cut out from a tealight. What should i use for this exhaust, which is a one piece dissapearing under the cab? Maybe a drinking straw coated with AlcladII? Yes, it looks fine, I'm happy with it. The supply lines. Now I need mirrors and it will be done. Thanks for looking in. Greetings, Michael
  8. Thank you, I'll try to get as close as possible to the truck from the picture. Sure, not everything is correct, but this happens when you try to shrink your big rig. Today, only a minor detail upgrade. A logo on the front, printed with the desktop printer and glued over BMF. The panels on the sides with the marker lights were made of 0,3mm Aluminium Sheet, also the the sunshade visor. Have a nice weekend, Michael
  9. Thank you very much. On the next resin kit i must use more sanding. It is not perfect, but for the first time. Today i mounted the the hardware with the Miyuki Beads, a front window and the air conditioner. Greetings, Michael
  10. Thank you guys, but i made a little change. When i look to the pictures i saw always a frog with scary big eyes. I changed the headlights to a smaller one and think this is closer to the truck on the picture. What do you mean? I wish you a happy Easter, Michael
  11. Thank you very much. Worked on a few details, headlights, backlights and marker lights. Also the air cleaner, polished with Uschi's chrome powder. Greetings, Michael
  12. Thank you very much. It is done! Shure it needs little corrections on the golden stripe in front. But now I allow the color to dry a couple of days. Greetings, Michael
  13. Juergen, your models belong to the best I have ever seen. This Mack is absolutely amazing! I already have the daycab of this model from aitm here. Would be very happy to read your description of making better gauges. Building up the Kenworth Bullnose from Illini Replica and the dashboard is not really good.
  14. Very nice, good choice with colour.
  15. Thank you very much for your comments.
  16. Beautiful cab, i wish i could have one.
