  1. This is my latest project. I am going to build it the same as it is on the box, as I really think metallic red suits it. I will be adding a bit of extra detail, like flocking, and using tinting film (designed for use on real cars) on some of the windows. Don't hold your breath on this one as progress is probably going to be quite slow. as I will have to do all my paint spraying outside, or in my little shed, and its dark by the time I get home from work at this time of year. So going to be limited to weekends for paint work. weather permitting. Hears my progress so far. I'm just adding the body kit at the moment. See pictures below. Before left, after right.
  2. Very nice build Andy.
  3. Ok, Thanks for your advice Bill. I'll give it ago.
  4. Hi everyone, I would be grateful if someone could give me some advice on how to use and apply Mr.Putty two part epoxy putty smoothly to my models? Just got some, but of course the instructions are in Japanese as I suspected! I want to use it to fill a void in the back of a bench seat and headrests. please see attached photos.
  5. Definitely gonna say real on this one.
  6. Oh my god!! I'm asking Jairus. What engine is that? Looks like an old aircraft engine?

  15. I hear you Ken. Thanks for your reply and your advice.
  16. Yeah those models are incredible Tony.!! I have great respect for those guys, and I'm so glad that people are trying to preserve the great history of our hobby. I would love to go to the model Car Museum one day, and see some of the great models on display there also. But have to make do with the virtual tour. as I live in England and don't have the funds to get over there at the moment. An yeah I sure wish I was as skilled as some of those guys.
  17. I say real. Because of the rain on the windscreen.
  18. I wasn't around in the Golden age of modeling, as I'm only 34. But i have a great interest in the history of our hobby and also the history of the full size custom cars of that era, and the likes of Ed Roth, Darryl Starbird, Larry Watson, etc etc. I am always looking out for old model magazines and old, car craft magazines, popular customs etc etc when funds allow. I have bean very lucky and managed to find issue number one of car Model Magazine. From 1962 and also the Revel Pactra model Champions Volume no one from 1964.
  19. I was just surfing the net yesterday, and I stumbled across a site I haven't seen before. It appears to be being changed around a bit at the moment, but is definitely worth a look as it features some very significant and well known historical models. Including reprints of some original model magazine articles from the sixties! It is called model car science and its address is http://www.geocities.com/dreamrod2/science.html. Just thought I'd pass this info on.
  20. whey hey!! got one right!

  24. Nice build so far, and very different. sort of reminds me of some of the 60's concept cars, but with a modern twist. I like the look with the spoiler. Great.
