Wow! what a great idea! and great conversion, looks factory. really like this one.
  2. No decent model shops anywhere round hear! (South Hams, Devon) So I've just ordered fujimi's S54A four-door Nissan Skyline 2000GT-A, and a Nissan 330 Cedric 4 Dr HT 2000 SGL-E by Aoshima, from Hobbylink Japan. and buying a second hand compressor off a friend next week for £40 as he's getting a new one for his business. All I have to do now is try and find somewhere to build my models as no spare room what so ever!
  3. I didn't know the model cars magazine existed, but the second i found out i just had to subscribe! wow more than one model car magazine! I thought the other one was the only one left. as for joining the forum same reason as most of you other guys, got fed up with all the pointless bickering ex cetera over there. your all so friendly over hear. an just a nice place to hang out. I will eventually get back on with some of my projects, and get some pictures posted.
  4. That is one clean build! very nice.
  5. Wow! What a great idea! i,m gonna go down to the local craft shop tomorrow and look for some.
  6. Hi there guys. I think I fall into the boring category! My ride is a 2001 Ford Fiesta Flight 1.3. tiny compared to what most of you guys drive.
  7. Your build looks grate! I have one of the reissued kits, But so far have not been brave enough to tackle it.
  8. Hi there everybody. I'm Adam from Devon in the U.K, I have bean building models on and off since i was a teenager. I love Kustom cars and Hot Rods and also enjoy building Japanese cars too. I build just for myself as unfortunately model clubs and shows are pretty much none existent down hear, apart from the military modeling guys. Anyway this is a great forum and I really must try and get some of my builds finished. oh yeah I'm a production operative for a small local electronics company.
  9. Wow, looking nice. Cant wait to see some more pictures of this one!
  10. Gonna go with real, because of panel lines between the running boards and front fenders is to fine to be a model, and valve stems on tires.
  11. Whey hey!! I was right, cool!
  12. This is a tough one! I'm gonna go with real, i think? Yeah real.
  13. Yeah do go ahead with this one looks like a great project.

  17. I wouldnt hold your breath on there being any new Airfix kits on the shelves Scones and clotted cream, now your talking. Dont forget the strawberry jam! thats very important Anyhew better get on with some of my builds. had a very busy weekend so far, as ive been helping out with the local village fate. Pimms on the lawn and all that, wot wot
  18. That is a long time. I was born a year after that. I reckon a lot of places round hear wont have changed much at all really since then especially the smaller villages. Have to let me know when you are coming over, and have to try and get together maybe? and show you round a few nice places.
  19. Yeah go for it! I got it rite a few times. Be great to see it over here.
  20. Wow! I live about twenty miles from Buckfestleigh. I'm in a local cross country running club and run out that way quite a lot. Sometimes go for a ride on the steam trains there to, from time to time. When was the last time you came over to this small part of the world ? It's such a lovely place to live, (The South Hams). The only down side is that Model shows are non existant here, Apart from an IPMS show in Torquay once a year. But thats all military and figures etc, and theres no decent model shops at all.
  21. Thanks steve. Ive seen some of your models in print before. I love the Star fink. gotta do a roth style build sumday. Really like your 32 as well thats in this months mag. you have some awsome builds Cant wait to see it finished Darin.
  22. Thanks randy. The road runner was a copy of a cover car on Street Machinse magazine, from the 90's. Yeah will get around to finishing it soon I hope. Bit of a chore trying to find sumwhere to build as I dont have a workbench set up. Gotta try and find room to put one. Only got a small house, no spare room.
