  4. Very nice build Ron. that is definitely one of the nicest builds of that kit Ive seen so far. Do you have any interior shots?
  5. I managed to get some paint on the body this morning, So there is some progress even if it is a bit slow. When the paints hardened I'm going to rub it out, then do the detail painting. I'm just using the kit wheels, well up to now anyway.
  6. Looking great so far Bill. Your work never ceases to amaze me!!
  7. Looking real good Dub. Really learning a lot watching all these detailed Rat Rod build ups. Cant wait to see it finished.

  10. Hi there hemiman. Thanks for the comment, No hood. Just the way it is yeah. was going to run a hood but just thought it looked better without. The paint is Ford Arizona gold, out of a rattle can.
  11. Going against the grain this time and gonna say Model.
  12. Yep I agree, the turkeys definitely fake, no doubt about it!
  13. Thanks Manuel Got another three window 36 to build as well yet, just trying to make my mind up which way to build it.
  14. Hear are the finished pictures of my 36 Ford. I decided not to wire the engine on this one as I wanted to keep it real clean looking. I will try and get some better pictures up as soon as I can.
  15. Wow, there sure was some great stuff at that show, Thanks for sharing the photos Lyle.

  18. Ive finally got some more work done on my 36 ford. I was showing the buildup on another Forum which shall remain nameless. as I don't post there anymore I thought i would show you my progress so far. Please check out my web page for the rest of the build up pics.

wow thats even more amazing. very nice work. I've not reached the dizzy heights of working with brass yet. just experimenting at the moment with mold making and resin casting. going quite well at the moment. thats very interesting, what you said about the chrome plating, thanks for the info.

Wow! thats very nice Dirk. the paint on the body is stunning. very clean too. What chassis did you use for this model? or did you scratch build it?
  22. Wow you got lucky there with those Hot rod magazines Manuel. I have managed to find a few bargains on ebay, but never bin that lucky.
  23. I got it from Hobbylink japan. Its an Aoshima kit, just a basic MPV with a body kit and lowered sports suspension etc. It is still a current kit. Aoshima do loads of them. Toyota's, Nissan's etc and so do fujimi. I built the Tamiya Honda SM-X a few years ago, (see picture below) and liked it a lot so just thought I'd have a go at something similar again.
  24. This is a real tough one! going to say real though. Just a hunch, just something about the floor and the reflection. yeah real, final answer.
  25. Some more progress pictures. I have to fill the gaps where the body kit doesn't fit the body properly. See arrows in the photos below.
