I agree with Davyou5 Donald. Practice makes perfect. I often make mistakes etc with my builds, but its all part of the process. Mine are far from perfect, but its all about having fun and doing it your way. P.S, I like the black wheels and green body combo.

Thanks, don't hold your breath though, lol Hard to get any painting done this time of year as I have to paint outside and its dark by the time i get home from work at this time of year not to mention frosty. Gonna try and do somthing different with the interior

This is one of my latest builds. The AMT 39 Chevy Wagon Rod. I have opened up the side windows to turn it into a station wagon and dechromed the wheels and grill. The grill will be body colour, and I have removed all the chrome trim from the body and hood. I am going to fit it with a blown and injected Ford 429 engine from the MPC Winged Express Altered drag car, just to be different. And it will feature a custom interior.

Hi there. Not really a newbie, but have not been active for quite a long time so thought it would be good to reintroduce myself to you guys and gals. I’m trying to get back into modelling and build a bit hear and there but don’t hold your breath for anything being finished any time soon lol. I live in the South Hams, Devon in the U.K. and I love Rods, Rat Rods and Kustoms. Although I do like building rice burners as well. Anyways I would also like to say what a great forum this is.

Really sorry to hear your bad news Gregg. I had my computer take a dump on me about two and a half years ago in a storm. A power surge hit and trashed my computer. I lost everything. I foolishly didn't have any surge protection at all on my computer, and no backup. I had to go out and buy a new tower unit and bought some mains protection as well, and I thought that all would be OK. Then just as my warranty had run out on my new tower, disaster struck again and my power supply just blew for no apparent reason, and took out my mother board. I was very lucky in that a friend managed to salvage my hard drive contents and replaced my mother board and put a beefier power supply in. I now keep everything important backed up on an external USB hard drive. Computers are great when there working. but when something goes wrong it can have a real sting in the tail!! I hope you manage to get it sorted Gregg and you manage to recover the files you need. Best regards, Adam.

Haven't bean all that active lately. Just logged on to see whats bean going on and found that loads of topics have bean deleted!!?? Whats going on guys? did I miss something?

Don't look right to me. The doors for one as Steef said, the tire markings are too shiny for my liking, and just doesn't look right the mirrors antenna decals etc. definitely going with model on this one.
