  15. roll cage is definately scratch building time...as for the seats....Maybe late 80's early 90's corvette seats or seats out of a die cast car..like a tuner car....they usually have the racing seats hope this helps
  16. I based this build on a 1:1 car hat I had seen years ago in Truckin' magazine. I started with the Boyd's Smoothster kit by Testors. Molded in the chrome trimming, Cut the body behind the drivers seat and finished it off as a pick up by scratchbuilding the rear half of the model including widening the rear fenders to accomodate the box. The consol was scratch built, and the roof was shortened to fit the new bod style. Got rid of the front suspension that came with the kit and replaced it with a more accurate independent set up. Brakes are the 15 inch discs by Pegasus, and the tires and wheels are the 19" chrome T's with big and little tires also by Pegasus. A ford motor ws used with a 6 pack set up with resin cast air cleaners. The paint is 2003 Lambourghini Alta Tangerine Pearl Orange with a touch of Sunset Russet Pearl.

  18. My Stephen King inspired Cougar. A real fun build. This has been my best year for modeling since my teens. However due to financial problems I may be losing my home so I doubt 09 will be as good. Good luck to everyone in the coming year.

My Mrs. always supported my hobby for these simple reasons... ...I dont spend money in bars ...I dont spend money in strip joints ...I dont spend money on booze ...keeps me out of trouble ...and at the least she knows where to find me if im not on the main floor ...IN THE DOG HOUSE (aka; hobby room)
