Thanks mate, appreciate it. Thanks, Tamiya (can) TS-58 Pearl light blue & Tamiya pearl clear from a can. Thanks mate, It has been mildly modded, lowered suspension, custom interior and some engine mods. I wanted it to turn look like a shop truck or daily driver. Thanks mate. Cheers. Cheers. Thanks. -
Thanks for liking it. Paint was Tamiya x-13 using an airbrush and clear was Tamiya pearl clear from a can, no polish was used. Lol, it was raining when I was taking photos. You never always have perfect days when there is a photo shoot on. It is a good kit. Just watch the decals, they are soft and the side mirrors need to have the holes opened up from the inside of the body. Apart from that it is a nice kit to build. Thanks mate, I still have a long way to go before I even come close to some of the builders on here.

I'm calling this done. It's no show stopper, but I'm happy with it.

So I'm calling this one done.

Welcome Matt, good to see another Aussie. Looking forward to seeing what you are building. -
Looks nice, slightly envious. Will be watching.

Thanks, I'm real happy with it. When we get better sunlight in Brissie I'll get some better outdoor shots. I don't know if I will polish, I'm happy how it is.

Nice engine, is that all custom or some out of the box?

Hi all, I started my next build, which is the Hasegawa Fairlady 240zg. This is a curbside kit and thus will be built like one. I didn't want to go to over the top or try anything new and different (for me), so I went with a very mildly modified interior. The seats will be black leather, the rear parcel carpet is from an old mouse (pc) bag that I pulled apart. The body has about 6 coats of Tamiya x-13 Metallic Blue and 3 or 4 coats of TS-13 Clear with no polishing. I still have the body kit to paint. The window trim was masked and painted after the clear with Tamiya Flat Black. Thanks for looking, comments, tips and critique welcome.

The Power wagon looks interesting, any more pics? Are those rims from the box for the '55? -
Nice craftsmanship, it never ends with how good some of you guys are at making things happen. Keep it up.

This is a really cool build. I'm loving the lace roof and engine detail. I think I may have found my next purchase. -

Thanks again Mark. I have been looking over the tips & tech thread looking for ideas that I can use in the future. Thanks Chris, that was done with a toothpick. I now have a brush that is finer than a toothpick so the next one should look cleaner. -

Yeah, I picked up on that and should have fixed it. I got lazy. Wow, thanks Rob. Looking at some of your builds, I feel lucky to have a comment like that come from you and I appreciate it. Thank you -

Thanks for the kind words Mark. I do agree, sometimes you can over do it. Once I get the correct tools and supplies I should be able to do a cleaner model. -

Thanks Mark, still along way off being anywhere near as good as some of the builds on here. I will get there in about 30 years or so. -

So for some stupid reason I'm unable sleep, which gives me time to myself and my models. I've been able to get this to a point where I'm happy to all it done and move on. I will post better pictures in "Under the glass" when the sun comes up. Thanks for looking. -

Should be an interesting re-build, I havent seen one before and will be watching. On the clear parts, have you tried taping the joints till the glue takes up? -

So I got some more done and some colour added. Nothing special but I'm starting to like where it headed. Thanks for looking.
