It’s ok I just wanted it off my thread so people didn’t get it confused with my build. And yes it does annoy me when people complement on other’s work on my thread they high jacked. I figured after a year the mod would remove your high jack. Now that I want to return to this build I just want it removed.

Very nice great score. This is my brother Bills favorites out of the AMT truck kits. He just bought another one off of eBay week before last I think this makes him around 10 kits with the green glass and well over 20 over all kits of the little windows. I have almost 25 1/43 little window Pete’s one out of the bunch has the tinted smoke glass. Thanks for sharing. Truck looks nice

It’s been a very long time since I had this on the bench. Today I dug it out and I was really never happy with the Beige paint job so I repainted it a Deep Blue. I also had been working on getting the engine to fit into the frame I think I finally got it. Hope to have more updates soon.

I know this is almost 3 years old but that is one sharp truck. You did a great job on a kit with a lot of issues. I like the colors. Great job.

Steve yes it is and looking at it for over 50 years also. I guess that’s why I want to go a different route with it. Thanks for the complement on the cab I just cleaned it and sanded what glue marks I could then just went for it with over spraying.

This was my Brother Bill’s truck he built back in 1972. Truck started out as a dump truck but I think it got smashed by his Little Brother not mentioning any names here ?. He rebuilt it into a massive Grain Hauler then years later gave the rig to me. I thought about rebuilding it back to Bill’s Grain truck but I decided to shorten it up and make a tractor out of it. I hope I can give the 52 year old model some justice.
