  1. I like what you've done so far!.
  2. Never would've thought to use the 69'Shelby and Mach1 for the engine bay parts,i've got 67-70 cougars as well including the 70'ragtop that I will try to copy what you've done, looking forward to seeing your progress on this one.
  3. Very nice looking bird.
  4. Unfortuneately I can't save the front axles, I tried using glue de-bonder with no luck,so I scratchbuilt a couple and will grind the old ones off.
  5. Here are the rest of the parts, cleaned up and ready for primer, hopefully can start primer and painting this weekend
  6. The exhaust looks rough, but the glass packs were so heavily glued on I had to use my Moto to grind them off and sanding off the glue spots, same with the driveshaft.
  7. As you can see in some of the pics a lot of glue damage,i've spent about 2 weeks just sanding and filing parts and cutting pieces of sprue to make attachments points for some parts just to get it to this point.
  8. The plan is to paint it factory Maroon, with a vinyl roof,i'm thinking the whole body in maroon will be to much, but I can't find any good pictures of the vinyl roof molding. So if anyone knows of a good site a link or such would be appreciated.
  9. Hello, this is my next project a restoration that I bought off ebay 7-8 years ago, with the Modelhaus closing their doors next year it got me hunting down my builtups to order parts. This car was a glue/paint bomb, painted with a can of gloss black paint or 2,it soaked in CSC for 2 or more weeks and even then some paint wouldn't come off,so I used Easy-off and it stripped nicely.
  10. Different,but very well executed!,i love it.
  11. Looks nice,i need to buy a couple more of these to add to the stash.
  12. Wow,barely had time to get over your Monaco and now this!,i agree with espo with having the top match the body.
  13. Quality build inside and outside.
  14. Great looking car!,i find that seeing musclecars built in uncommon colors is more interesting than the typical colors.
  15. Turned out beautiful!,the work on the interior looks great and i agree I like the look of the taillights on these cars,i have a 68'galaxie paint/glue bomb as my next project just trying to clean it up to the point I can post it as a WIP on the forum, keep up the Excellent work.
  16. He does do incredible work, but i'm willing to bet like most modeler's he'd probably find a handful of things with this build he would've like to have turned out better.
