No repainting yet Brizio, the body has to be resanded in a couple areas, hope to have it primer by the end of the week.
-
You're right about the carpet color Dominik,I was looking at the backing all this time!

Ok,I'm back with a small update, the front+ rear glass is finished,i repainted the body as well, but it fell off the paintstand onto the ground and more chips and debris got into the paint! .So I stripped the body, hope to have it back in primer this week, work has slowed things down a bit.

Okay, back with a small update finally masked the body to paint the trim, and that's were the fun started, the bmf I used had lost it's stickiness,so it lifted in about 90% of the car so grabbed a other sheet and same result!,so tried with another sheet same deal!.Finally found a sheet that worked, painted the trim and went to remove the masking and the masking took off some of the paint! ,I think it's very fixable, but I'm just not feeling the grey trim on the body,so debating repainting it in black, even though I saw a 1:1 yesterday with grey trim.Anyone else have a thought or opinion on the trim?

You're correct Dominik, but the carpet is a tan color and since I went with a grey color it just wouldn't match,i'll save the carpet for another project.I should've covered the ups and downs on the floor, but the interior put together hides most of it.

Boy,this one is tough, but I went with Model.

I also have a few pics with the console attached and the door panels mocked for test fitting, which is the usual Tamiya fit ,i was able to put on my final pearl coat on the Volvo a couple days ago,so while it's drying i will start on the few parts left to paint.

Thanks Kennyboy and twokidsnosleep and Bennyg,Thanks also PatW for the pic of the taillight area! Ok,small update for today,I redid the interior floor with a mixture of light gray/dark gray flocking using Ken's Kustom fuzzi fur.

Not sounding mean, but this thread is turning into the same as the 71'ford thread people have them in hand, but no one is doing any W.I.P.S!and it's killing us who don't have one!

Looks very nice and the medal was well deserved!,what color did you use to paint it?.

Was finally able to get some pearl coats on the body, but a couple fuzzy's got on the roof and hood ,but i'll sand them out with a 1500 grit sandpaper and recoat.Camera isn't quite picking up the shine, but it does look nice!

A couple pictures of the doors and the front seats and the console. The doors were painted in the combo of hot rod grey primer/gray primer sealer and a couple light coats of semi gloss clear and the door inserts were left in the molded grey plastic. The front seats were painted in hot rod grey primer and given a couple light coats of semi gloss clear. The console was painted gunship gray/semi gloss black and needs a little color detailing the breakup all that black.

Here are some pictures of the interior, the rear cargo area was painted with a primer/sealer gray, while the seats were painted with a hot rod grey primer, the top edge of the back seat was left in the grey plastic it was molded in,i thought it gave it more contrast.I used a wash for the vents and cargo handles. The 3rd brake light was Bmf and painted with a couple coats of clear red paint.

The interior is pretty much done now,i painted the dash a combo of semi gloss black/gunship gray, the decals for being 20 years old held up well,i just need to detail paint the radio/air conditioner dials on this one.

Hello again, thanks for the compliments guys!back with more updates:flocked the interior with less than good results ,think i'll be redoing this one.Luckily i used white glue so stripping it in hot water should work.

Hi,back with just a small update, the chassis has all the suspension parts added,it all goes together really nice!although it doesn't show to well I added a decal to the oil filter to add a little detail.
