    Excellent work so far! I've got at least 3-4 of these in the stash,i think having to mask all that trim and hoping it turns out has stopped me from building one so far.

    I just recently bought the 340 from a seller in Canada and only paid $15 dollars minus shipping,the other engines I bought at least 10 years ago and paid around 15-18 dollars,the next best alternative is to place an ad seeing if someone wants to trade and the last SAE Tim boyd has a great article on mopar muscle v8's and what kits have the engine.

    I recently bought one as well,planning on putting in the new 70'cuda,i also have his 383 and 440,426 engines and they look really good as well.

    I would like to get my hands on one,but they seem to be selling between $90-150 dollars!,so i'll pass.

    Pretty sure in another thread,someone posted a pic of a test shot which looked good.I preordered 2 from GMScustoms when they were still $15.99,hopefully the ride height will be fixed with this release.

    I've never heard of Meng until yesterday,but the quality of the tooling looks impressive!,i'm glad to see Meng stepping up and offering a kit the other companies aren't interested in doing,hopefully we will see more of this in the future.

    Thanks for the reply's on the trim,i too have the 78'release but will be picking this one up for sure after reading the review and the additional parts included.

    I'm wondering if the chrome trim along the bottom edge of the body has been removed I couldn't tell looking at the pics.

    I realized it right away,i noticed that he had used the small block hood for the build.
