  1. AMT did a 96'gt coupe in their snapfast plus series back around 1997 and you could kitbash it with AMT's 97 gt kit to get a detailed build,check ebay or post in the wanted section here in the forum maybe someone can help you.
  2. I have a few promo's ranging from the 60's to 2011,the stars of my collection are a 70'cuda molded in plum crazy and a 68'corornet r/t and a 71'impala convertible and i have a 70'gtx promo.

  8. Amt's 70-72 LT-1 corvettes are pretty nice as well
  9. I like it better than the coupe,the next question is who kits it first AMT or Monogram?.

Another alternative is Reliable Resin,scale auto enthusiast Oct 2009 in the Bench Racer column covers the trans am conversion you want to do using his standard nose with the full width bumper.But on the down side there has been numerous threads about how R.R. service is poor,delays and endless excuses,i'm just letting you know.
  11. Good looking build!,i'm currently building the base cayman but i'm finding that masking the window trim is a bit difficult,what technique did you use?
  12. I know that Replicas and Miniatures Company of Maryland used to make them,bought a couple years ago very good quality from what i remember.
  13. I'm looking forward to this kit as well i plan on kitbashing it with AMT's 2011'Camaro convertible to make a ZL1 convertible.

  17. The only place i've seen that makes the conversion to the standard nose for use on AMT's new 70 Camaro is Reliable Resin, Scale Auto Enthusiast October 2009 did a article,but with RR track record you may be better off with doing it yourself.

  20. Looks awesome!i have at least 5 of these in my stash,the only letdown in this kit and the camaro kits is the frosting on the outside of the glass and the absence of the rear sidemarker lights,yet the snap together kits have them.
