The only complaint i had with the revell firebirds is the window frosting is on the outside of the glass and the rear side marker lights were decals i believe.
I usually bid my max and if i win great!but when i first joined ebay i did a lot of sniping,but now shipping from some parts of the U.S. to Canada ranges from $28-$42 dollars!so needless to say i've cut down on my bidding.
A very good looking build!,as for the inaccurasies i think i read somewhere long ago that the1/8 65'vette chassis and other parts were modified in areas and used on the 78'vette.
Just a little info Reliable Resin offers a 88-93 LX convertible,if you feel your in over your head and also their have been threads about their service and i'm not starting one just passing along some info,good luck on your build.
Did a little more digging and indeed in Scale Auto Enthusiast #23 january/february 1983 is another article covering the same conversion in more depth so i hope this helps anyone looking to do the conversion themselves.
Very nice build!,my first car was a 82'Z28 color was silver with a dark red interior i eventually traded it in to get a 88'Iroc-Z convertible,what color did you use to paint your car?is it a factory color?
