  1. Looks good!,i built the revell version and had a hell of a time getting the rear area to go together!.
  2. Okay final assembly has begun, the front grille may need more panel wash as it seems a little to light still, for the black areas on the front fascia i used decals from my stash cut to size for a cleaner look and i used red and blue detailer for the grille emblem. The body to chassis fit was perfect, but sits a tiny bit low in the back. The decal on the fan shroud took lots of decal solution to sit flat. The instructions call for adding the rear panel after the body/chassis are put together, but i glued the rear panel in first then added the rear bumper and taillight in 1st,then put the chassis/body together.I used Tamiya Black panel wash for the area around the taillights and gas cap. Thats all for now,Happy Easter everyone!!
  3. Luv the color and the wheels!.πŸ‘Œ
  4. Thanks!,it's alot easier than trying to use decals on the dash/console/steering wheel.i think it's how i'll do all my woodgrain now.πŸ™‚
  5. Pretty much every picture i could see of the interior of a 70'429 it's what i saw.πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
  6. Okay i have a small update the interior is done i added embossing powder for carpeting and added seatbelts. I noticed that the mustang has part of the seatbelt notched to the headliner area so thats what i did as well. Now final assembly can begin.
  7. Thanks my friend for the comment.πŸ™‚ Thank you Bainford!.😁
  8. Nice!! i remember wanting to build my kit as a duallie, but i can't remember who offered the parts.
  9. Nice build of kit,that i haven't seen in years.πŸ‘
  10. Outstanding!!,that color really pops!!.
  11. Very nice work!πŸ‘, bought the same kit last year at a swap meet,i built their 62'Nova last year and that was an exercise in patience!!
  12. Thanks for the info, finding good pictures for accuracy is difficult. Thank you,the seventies offered some great colors. Thanks!, so far its been going well.
  13. I've been buying his paint for a couple years and it lays down really nicely everytime i've used it.
  14. I'm not sure if Fireball still has them but that's a name i had never seen before.
  15. Hello again new build on the bench, haven't built anything ford in awhile,so dug this out of the pile a couple weeks ago. Color is Scalefinishes Calypso Coral with a couple coats of Splash Paints clear, decided to do most of my BMF on the body and paint the marker lights first then clearcoat over top. Decided i wanted to go with a look of a car that's been driven spring to fall over the years, so i painted the chassis Tamiya Flat Brown and various Vallejo colors. Used some Fireball tires decals to represent replaced tires, due to some "Accidental acceleration Incidents' ,over the years😬 i also added wheel weights and valve stems but the camera is not picking them up. Engine is painted for some reason the camera makes it look all shiny but it's not,i used heater hose for the spark plug boots i had to stretch them a little to fit over the molded ones on the valve covers. I tried a new technique for doing the woodgrain,i used Testors Sand paint as the base, followed by Brown Tamiya Panel wash, then Tamiya Clear Yellow, the speedometer deals are from an old Last detail sheet.I also added some P/E keys as usual I heat stained the exhaust and added a light wash of Tamiya Black panel wash on the engine for a little dirty look
  16. Thank you!πŸ‘ Thanks Slusher for the support!. Thanks it was frustrating at times. Thanks ChrisR.πŸ™‚ πŸ‘Glad you like it,thanks. This was!,..once it came time to put it together. Thanks that's what i'm trying for a vehicle that's had some usage. Thanks TransAmMike!!🀠 Appreciate the comment!πŸ‘ Excellent!, i feel the same!.
  17. I'm trying to do more weathering just to learn something new, thanks for the comment. Thank you,i try to improve with each build. Appreciate the comment.😁 I agree!,it suits the body lines really nicely. Thanks!, i think the white roof really makes the exterior color standout. 😁Glad you like it! Thanks drippingoil.πŸ‘ I agree!, i want to paint a 70'Challenger the same color. I'm happy with it as well,i think they really work well together. Thanks,it would be great if Amt released a Coronet R/T kit,it would take alot of work.
  18. I didn't notice that in the pics i saw,i'll remember that for the next time. Thanks so much!,i'm pretty happy with the results. Thank you for the comment!,i think the colors really compliment each other.
  19. Hi everyone, this build is complete and is now posted Under Glass, thanks for the views, comments and likes.😁🀠
  20. Wrapped this up a couple days ago, color is K5 Dark Burnt Orange, from Scalefinishe, the R/T parts are from Ebay,i used the wheels from the 71'Charger RT.The door locks are P/E parts. I used Fireball Modelworks for the door handles and tire decals,i also decided to make an antenna using some 3/ 64 round rod and g-5th plain banjo strings.Their should be Hemi lettering on the hoodscoops but i could find anything small enough. For the headlights i scribed out the molded ones and used headlights from a couple 69'Camaros. The decals at the rear weren't the greatest, they wouldn't really bend around the corners,i did my best with them. I tried to do a little weathering on the chassis, heat staining the exhaust, but it is a little to light.
  21. That color is striking!!
  22. That color looks absolutely stunning on that Vette!,well done!πŸ‘Œ
  23. Great looking builds!πŸ‘,Revell really needs to reissue this kit and Canuck3D makes excellent parts to convert to the 73-76 versions.
  24. Arrival from the other day,i was hoping it would make a good donor to resin body so i can make a Hornet s/c 360,but it's in such great shape i don't want to use it.πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
  25. I amazed at how you make the conversion work look so easy!πŸ‘Œ
