A very nice kit by Monogram in the 80's,i would like to build one like the one in the 80's tv series The A team.

The Mpc engine is really undersized,so i took the one from the 71'Duster and added a resin auto transmission,the engine color was made from mixing chrysler blue with white paint.I still need to add more wiring though,the air cleaner is a parts box item with a Keith Marks decal.

Thanks for the comments everyone!i painted the interior Radome Tan with a couple light coats of semi gloss clear, flocking was a peach/buff mixture.Mpc's interior is a mixed bag,apparently you couldn't get a console and a stick in a Mopar A body after 1969.I decided to go with the auto so i grinded out the molded in pedals and replaced them with the 71'duster pedals.For the dash i used Keith Marks decals?

I think everyone who has this kit in there stash wants to paint it BRG!,i have a couple and that's my plan as well.?

Mpc made a 84'corvette with the ceasefire system and also Monogram made a 84 corvette snap kit with part of the engine molded to the body,but the top half was separate, i think.

I like this kit,the only downside is the molded in taillights.?

The first Tamiya kit I ever bought!,still have it even though it turned out pretty lousy.I since have bought a couple more of the coupes and convertibles.Few months ago I built Fujimi's version,because it had removable T-Tops and could be built as a non turbo car.

Years ago Perry's Resin made a 65'convertible in 1/25 scale and Revell made a 65'vette coupe in 1/24 scale.You could find the coupe on ebay,as I don't believe they're rare
