  1. Thank you so much for the kind words Chris! I agree with your recommendation and will (hopefully) remember to pay attention to similar details in the future. I'm always learning! On the other "hand" it's sometimes fun to intentionally "give the secret away"! Never Too Old by Kenneth Hendricks, on Flickr
  2. Thank you, Al! The Flickr page has gotten well over 400,000 views. I am so happy that people seem to like what they see. Clunker or Classic? by Kenneth Hendricks, on Flickr
  3. Thank you so much Terry!
  4. Thank you Bill. Here's another alternate take of the garage diorama scene: Chrysler Town and Country 3 by Kenneth Hendricks, on Flickr
  5. Thank you for the kind words Ron!
  6. Thank you Peter! I really enjoy taking photos of these beautiful cars. Although it's a little rough around the edges, I did actually scratch build the billboard in this photo: Duke and Min's by Kenneth Hendricks, on Flickr
  7. I have three 1/24 scale die-cast law enforcement vehicles in my collection (and photos on my Flickr page). This one is my favorite: More here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/144054535@N05/
  8. Thank you so much for the kind words James and Brad!
  9. This is looking better all the time! Great work!
  10. Michael Paul Smith was the inspiration for some of my work on my Flickr page. Here is my first attempt at forced perspective photography based on extensive study of MPS's beautiful photographs. He is the master! Denver 1912 by Kenneth Hendricks, on Flickr More here: LINK
  11. Agreed. They are meant to be looked at and they are indeed quite wonderful to look at!
  12. Collection/addiction, who's keeping score? Actually I don't even want to think about the money I've spent. They are "collectibles" because the Mints marketed them that way. Some of my models go for less than original retail but some of the "Limited Edition" ones go for much more money. I know some collectors like to keep them in the boxes and never touch them. That's not me. I like to keep them out where I can see them. They get the dust blown off when they get called up for a photo shoot!
  13. I only started collecting Danbury (and Franklin) Mint cars about a year ago. I have about 40 in my collection now. I really enjoy photographing them because they can look so real! There are a few photos on my Flickr page if anyone is interested: LINK 1942 Chrysler Town and Country by Kenneth Hendricks, on Flickr
  14. So far it looks great! Your attention to detail is inspiring.
  15. This is stunning to say the least! I'll be looking forward to seeing more progress.
  16. That's a great photo, Landman! If I had a Willys like that I'd keep it a little cleaner! Thanks to everyone for the kind words. There are a few more photos on my Flickr page if anyone is interested: LINK Cord and Ford by Kenneth Hendricks, on Flickr
  17. I'm not much of a model builder but I do like to collect and photograph them. I'm definitely inspired by the awesome work of Michael Paul Smith. I have huge respect for those of you who can build these things and make them look real. I like to photograph them and make them look real. Please check out my work. Comments, criticism and just plain heckling are most welcome: Studebaker Dictator 4 by Kenneth Hendricks, on Flickr
