66 Country Squire
Paul Hettick replied to Paul Hettick's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Just listed the first 66 Country Sedan wagon on ebay. The 63 and 66 Squires as well as the64 Country Sedan and 64 Colony Park will be coming soon. -
I bought some of his parts on ebay. Beautifully cast and well packaged. First class all the way.

Thanks for your enthusiasm. Lots of progress lately. Today starting the vacu form window buck. Then its down to the front parking lights and crispening of a few body lines.

Maybe the same punk who has been bugging me on and off for about 15 years. I do know his real name, he also uses several aliases. Have seen him post on here using one of them. He uses strange sexual innuendo as well. Has accused me of several crimes as well as using shill bidders when I sell on ebay. States that since I'm a "public figure" he can say whatever he wants about me and there is nothing I can do about it. Oh, he also claims to be an attorney LOL. Found his phone number and called him up to discuss his personal problems and he started shrieking at me like a little girl.

Here's some more progress pics. The last pic are the front fender louvers in progress. The rear bumper is Revell 76 Torino narrowed slightly and the guards moved inboard. Very happy with the grill. The taillight does fit flush at the bottom, in the pic it is sticking out a bit. Not a whole lot left to do!

Here's pics of the completed master. The 3 D printed wheel covers are not in yet so I'm using modified wheel covers from the Polar Lights Ecto- 1 till the good ones come in.

Yup a good eye you have!

Good news, the Caddy is all done and on the way to the caster. Would like to give a release date but I always am wrong lol.

Next up... Bumper time.
-
Got with the program and completed the taillight assy - the birds today. also straightened out a few crooked grill bars.
-
After a long break, I'm back on the Bird. Completed the part I was most afraid of... Making the egg crate grill. Still have to make the surround. Now to do the taillight.

D-100 Reissued -- C-10 Next ?
Paul Hettick replied to 1972coronet's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I always wondered why we never got a 73 Chevy Fleetside with the two tone side moldings. A long bed Scottsdale for me please. -
The master is done, many of the molds have been made by a well respected caster. The body mold still needs to be done and possibly the chassis and int tub I will have to check. I know the molds are done for the headlights, taillights, hubcaps, bumpers, engine and hood. It's a high parts count kit. body, chassis int tub, dash, st wheel, hood, six cyl. engine, h/l, tl/, h/c and maybe something I have forgotten. Have lost interest in it but would like to see someone finish it up. I would like four complete copies in return for the whole works. It was based from a johan kit, the were a bit larger than 1/25th scale, possibly 1/24th or 1/23rd. I can provide photographs of everything to an interested party. Thanks. Paul

Thank you all very much. I would hope to have copies available some time this summer. Paul

Thank you very much Daniel!

Thank you Tim. I redid the two parallel moldings that wrap over the B pillar as they were a bit caddywompus. Started on the taillight unit, but progress has been a bit slow lately. Hope some inspiration will hit me soon to get back on it. Paul
