Yeah it's got a slight thickness to it. Just enough.... the ends are a bit tricky to keep down. The viper is the same way in the grill... I'm thinking a little spray adhesive or something. Still have to experiment.

Got a few of the stripes started. Decided to go silver like I did with the gts. I had painted the viper like sunshine yellow and put it away because I absolutely hated what I had done with it. Then when I came back to the hobby I decided I had to redo the God awful paint I had laid down on it. I ended up going "de ja blue" but didn't have the stripes decals. So I had my girlfriend cut me some of these silver vinyl stripes.... now I'm doing them on the viper truck too... they're a bit tricky on the ends but I'll get the down. Just gotta make sure they're straight. Feel like I shouldn't have glued in the grills till after I striped.... we'll see...

Disaster averted. Saved by my girlfriend! The ram will in fact have stripes. They'll be vinyl instead. Just like the viper does. Now I just need a trailer to put the gts behind the vts...

That moment you start applying decals and they suck so you go a different route and start masking, and go to straighten out the masking tape just to tear up a layer of paint with it.... luckily I'm not the younger me... I'd have a lot of extra parts for the parts bin... needless to say the VTS will not have stripes.... stupid paint....

Yeah I use my phone for pretty much everything. I have a laptop and use IrfanView software for editing, but it runs windows 7 home premium and my note 5 doesn't communicate with it unless I do it through bluetooth. It'll charge my phone fine. They just don't like each other. I opened a photobucket account but it's not very mobile friendly. The more I try to use it the more I hate it.

yeah and my pphone won't take a pic smaller than 4kb

Got the frame and floors done. Everyone I've seen do this truck paints their floor black with the frame. I didn't want to do that so I did mine body colored with flat black frame and semi gloss suspension.

LOL I put the pics of the gtx in the car forums under glass section. I mislabeled it though. I thought it was a 73 buts actually a 71. Which I thought it might have been as I was posting it. I'm pretty close with Testors also. All I've ever used with the exception of a few sprays. Usually if I don't go testors spray I'll use duplicolor automotive. I've also used a couple tamiya paints. I don't mind them. I have transparent red, yellow, and clear gloss from them. As for the future, it's not called future anymore. Now it's pledge with future shine. Clear bottle blue and white label. After using it I'll never use anything else. It's an acrylic gloss that acts as a clear coat, it's paintable, it'll "glue" parts together and is safe on clear parts. It actually gives your clear parts a more realistic feel to them. I use it to secure clear parts like headlights on so I don't have to worry about clouding. Truly amazing stuff. And if it doesn't come out the way you'd like, take some windex to it and it'll come right off! I get mine at walmart.
