  1. Love the color
  2. Another option is to "de-can" it and use it in an airbrush. Thinned out it's better than spraying out of a can anyways
  3. Super job. Love the wheels, but then again, I'm older than dirt and still like mag wheels
  4. Nope! Stripped it back down and re-prime it. Gonna lightly sand, wipe off and re-paint again!. Going to get it right!
  5. Didn't notice, but you're right. Hard way to get that look. LOL
  6. Unfortunately , I got trash in the paint, because I'm dumb! Wait a few days for it to gas out and will try to sand it down smooth. (Rats!)
  7. Well, Got the re-paint done
  8. OK. Thanks. Sounds like a pain to get the dash, kick panels, door panels to fit ahead of time.Gonna have to do it.
  9. Will the standard type hinge work for in swing doors?
  10. Two I'd like to see are a 1962 Cadillac and a remake of a stock 1965 Plymouth Barracuda
  11. Wow! Ya'll are good at this. Will my common hinges work until I get better?
  12. The doors come to a point in the front center and will not swing in . Unless I do alot of sanding inside of door and fender!? Is that what I need to do?
  13. Ok, my first attempt to make the doors swing into the fender rather than out. Any tips? Help?
  14. Got this today. Break from habit and put it as #6, after the 1970 Firebird. IF my OCD lets me.
  15. Outstanding! I'll be looking in the thrift stores now!
  16. Reinforcing body with spare stock. Stop for the night, before there is more damage that IS avoidable due to a short temper
  17. Body broke in half while fitting door
  18. Making door hinges
  19. Thank you for the replies. It is much appreciated
  20. ok, where can I get the LR, LF, RR, LR NASCAR tire decals? Thanks in advance
  21. Ok, got the doors and trunk cut open, ALSO found I have to cut the spoiler on the back too! Ought to look good after it's painted with the trunk open with the spoiler on it. Going to reverse the hinges on this one. Put the hinge inside the doors and the "legs" in the fender. That way the door will open into the fender instead of swinging out. Going to get good at this if I keep doing it
  22. Well, going to start on #5, a Revell 1970 Pontiac Firebird. Going to do exterior paint in Createx Pearl white acrylic. Not sure on interior yet. Will have to google some pics. Hinging the doors looks like a challenge! Could be interesting
  23. Well finished the motor. Like my Fram filter. Some of my own decals. On to #5, Revell 1970 Pontiac Firebird
