  1. I got a 65 and 66 unbuilt. Need a 69 and did they ever make a '71? That's the boat tail, ain't it?
  2. Mail Call. Complete used kit. Had to have it!
  3. Got this today! Got an old body of this in a "junkyard" I bought. Like the body style and wanted one to build
  4. OK. New topic. Next problem I have. Painting parts. If I use a clip, I have a spot where the clip was I have to touch up. That sucks. If I use two sided tape or just tape to hold the part, I get glue residue on the part. Leaving it on the spruce creates an spot I need to touch up. Any suggestions???
  5. What is the best way to get rid of the joint lines when you glue two engine halves together. Working on a 1962 Thunderbird
  6. Thank you for the replies. Cost is not the problem, it's the vast variety of colors at Walmart I like.
  7. It's the variety of colors I like. Hundreds of colors. Know of any other place with that many choices and shades?
  8. I'm interested in using acrylic paints, but having problems with it. I use Windex for a thinner but it still wants to run. I'm using an airbrush. WalMart has bunches of colors that I would like to use and it's super cheap. Is there a trick with acrylic paints I need to know?
  9. Thank You Mike999 and SfanGouh. I appreciate the help!
  10. I need help finding where I can Order the 1/24th figures called "Dangerous Curves" and "Pin-ups" featured in Edition #205, page 5, Model Car magazine.
  11. How 'bout an Earnhardt #3 for a "club build"?
  12. Jim would like to see more on NASCAR models
  13. Gregg, Got my #205 issue. Very happy to see it. Know it takes it awhile to get out an issue but worth the wait. Only thing worse than the wait would be if there wasn't a "next" issue. I will renew when it's time. Keep up the great work!
  14. Was my "home" office when I was working. Now just "my space" and model room
  15. And shelf completed. Next side shelves to go between front and back on both sides. Waiting on Homely Depot to get some more brackets in!
  16. Oops....Shelf was still too long. Beat up wall, Had to cut an inch off the shelf. Will touch up wall or just let side shelf cover it. Depends on how I feel at the time. #1 on shelf. #2 thru 13 on front wall
  17. Brackets on wall
  18. Since I can't screw the brackets to the shelf, once again I used two sided tape
  19. I used this wall anchors and screws because that was the biggest screw head that would fit in the brackets
  20. Here is why you have to remember a 1x6 is actually 3/4 x5 and 3/4. It's one inch to the top of the slot hole for the screw on the brackets. SO, 7inches from the ceiling to the top of the shelf, 3/4 inch shelf thickness, and one inch to where the screw will be. Total of 8 and 3/4 iches. That's where the screws will be down.
  21. I got the bear for my wife for Christmas. She seldom ever comes to the garage. Quote, "It's dirty, it smells and I sweat!" Good news for me!
  22. Time to add on to the house! LOL! Post some pics, love to see it
  23. No. Didn't think about that! Alittle late now but a good idea!
  24. Newest is the sink cabinet. Just stuck it around my utility sing and organized my drawers. Hate hunting for the wrench or pliers, or socket I need.
