Got a '72 Torino promo from Spotlight hobbies. Just need the front grill and part if the interior for the 72 ranchero resin body I ordered from Motorcityresins. Gonna build it as I build my giant glue bomb, Dory

Ok , out the "Purple Pond". Ready for some sanding and primering. Anybody know anything for de-bonding glue. This Z-7 Debonder doesn''t seem to work, unless I'm doing something wrong

Well, while the body ,motor is in the purple pond , soaking to remove the paint, I decided to work on the front grill area. I screwed the headlights up when I built it in 1989. No clear glue. So, I taped up the holes on the back of the gill and filled them with two part epoxy that dries clear. Will use a chrome pen and then use Kristal Klear on the headlight lens,

This is #7 in the series of the ones I've already built and repairing before I start on a new one. This one was built in 8/89 according to the case. The mirrors were broke off and one of the exhaust tips. The "Future" clear coat I put on back then yellowed where it was too thick, so I sanded and re-cleared with a rattle can clear. Got a new case and put her on the self! On to #8

Wow! Nice job. Did the decals under hood come with the kit or is there some place I can them? The one on the battery, fan shroud and breather really make the great job you did "pop". really nice detailing all around. Next one I build I'll do more detailing on it.
