  1. OK. It's a deal/ See you in October
  2. The 66 GTO sounds good, but I'll be out of town in September but plan on being at the meeting in October
  3. Got a '57 Cadillac and two 1934 Ford sedans. Don't know I screwed up and ended up with two, but there they are. Anybody want to trade for a 60s muscle car for a sealed 34 Ford Sedan? Oh, and the Paydays are new too
  4. WOW! I'm not gay but I'd kiss you on the lips for that! Bought the '72 Ranchero! I'm rebuilding an actual '72 Ranchero. I call it my giant glue bomb. I'll be posting on "What you drive" here as I work on it. Thanks again! Gonna love this one!
  5. My questions, (2), 1. can you use paint thinner for enamel black? 2. Can you use other colors for a wash? ie; a red dash, use a red wash to highlight areas? Thanks, Terry
  6. I tried the sanding , polishing routine. Worked for me. Seen it on a video by "Hunter" on Showtime Studios"
  7. This rates right up there with the "roll up windows' and "hand made engine pulleys". Just amazing, as usual. Thanks. Your great!
  8. I know I didn't say anything about your build but it's really amazing the way you're doing it. I'm watching. Thanks for sharing
  9. At this rate, "Porky" maybe more appropiate
  10. Yup! I'm now convinced that I'm in the wrong hobby. WOW! Maybe crocheting......
  11. Thank You. I will try it!
  12. Filled the gap on the transmission and painted it aluminum. Real transmissions don't have a gap line down the center of them, lol
  13. I've putting up new shelves in my new room. Old room is now a guest room. This time I'm putting a piece of Shoe molding to keep them from falling off. Got about 12 that I don't know if I can save. My Cadillac, I'm missing too many parts. According to the date on the case I built it 11/93. *sigh*, Will keep you posted as I work on it. Stopping on the models in the meantime
  14. I know! What the heck has this got to do with modeling? I'll explain. I had a different office/mancave in the house a few years back. I had a shelf all the way around the top of the walls where I would put my finished models. Low and behold the A/C went out in the house and when they changed it, they changed the thermostat on the wall. Yup the same wall as my office/mancave. Instead of drilling the holes in the wall to mount it, they used a hammer an screw driver. Yup, every one of the models on that wall came down and broke all of them. This was one of my favorites at the time. Now boneyard parts
  15. What is this "wash" thing you speak of?
