  1. that's gonna be awesome, I'd kinda like to see one in ford grabber blue too!
  2. I shop Top Shelf models in Owasso Ok, the guy who owns it, Royal, is the best! Great selection, great prices and very helpful! The only other place I shop is the local hobby town (only cause royal doesn’t carry Tamiya acrylic paints) and because I’m not buying $500 r.c. cars and planes they’d never miss me…
  3. My all-time fav is LITTLE GTO by Ronnie and the Daytona's, then any of the Brian Setzer/Stray cats car songs: who could love this car but me, 49 mercury blues, built for speed, switchblad 327, drive like lightning.....
  4. I got re-started on my merc today. I had it almost all finished but I wasn't happy with the way it was looking. so the whole thing got bath in the purple pond. here are a couple pics of the interior. after seeing so many of the merc's done on the net it hard to one and make it unique. i know if gonna use the same suede color as jantrix's deuce.
  5. wow that looks awesome! but i have a question, what happened to the center post on the the windsheild? I think i know, if its any like what happened to me 15 minutes ago you broke it polishing oh well i think it looks better with out it! great flames!
  6. very nice! good color choice! whats the desoto mill out of?
  7. that's really slick! i also love the satin look, have you used their satin clear over gloss paint? how well doed it work?
  8. Hypocritical Sinner!!!!!!!!! no really its okay. I kid all in good fun, but i do love my ponchos!
  9. any more progress on this? i really wanted to see this one done! love them ponchos!
  10. With the new 3G iphone just around the corner I've been think... does anyone on here use there iphone or ipod touch to post on this forum? if so how easy is it for you. i'd like any details i get...
  11. well then thanks for nothin'! but still thanks none the less!
  12. man that looks great! i just sprayed some primer on mine not five minutes ago. I couldn't decide between white and orange or white and green. Guess i'm gonna go green now just to change it up a bit.
  13. funny i've been thinkin' about making this same purcase off ebay. I got a revell 32 sedan and 3 bottels of alclad color shifting paint for 3 bucks a pop!
  14. i use dot 3 brake fluid to strip almost any paint. its a little messy but it works.
  15. the 70 stang would be poor choice to do this with becasue its a uniabody car. if the car doesn't have a frame its gonna be kinda hard to z it
  16. I think this whole thing should have come to an end a long time ago. every one should just move on and get back to what this forum is about building models and helping your peers. I just think the whole thing is in bad taste, the joke, timing, and the ###### followed. I meen come guys would you act like this in your LHS or a model show. no you wouldn't and I see this board as being the same thing, a place that belongs to someone else that you are a guest in. Now drop all of this nonsense and build some models. Donks, hot-rat-old school rod, muscle cars, low riders whatever you like. I think it would be really sad to have to see this thread get locked so lets just drop it.
  17. Sad news, as for my fav boyd ride it would be cadzzilla. Casey
  18. Oh i get it all right, the wheels are the best part! you gotta love $20K worth of wheels on a $500 car. I love this thing!
  19. Well hello, But who are you? do tell a little about yourself and them cars. Casey
  20. wicked awesome. If you watched the barret-jackson this year some sold one that was painted in what looked to be spray in bed liner. it was really cool!!!!!
  21. I like ratrod and old-school hotrods some muscle cars and any 55-59 gm's and last but not least poncho's (the more carbs the better)
  22. because the only difference in the kits for the #5 tide car and say dale's #3 would have been the decals. revellogram wouldn't have tooled different molds for different owners valve covers.
  23. I use a badger 200, it has been a great first airbrush. you can get one for around $50 buck, leaving you plenty to buy your hose, moisture trap and compressor. ( all things i didn't think about when i bought mine) Badger 200
