  8. I was five in 89, my grandpa bought me a snap-tite p-40 warhawk at wally world. I remember it was in some sort of paper bag not a box. I think i still have it somewhere. my first car was about 10 years ago a amt 65 gto built it as a copy of my grandpa's 1:1
  9. god's gift to modelers! I bought one back when i building airplanes but it still very usefull with autos. three things i cant live with out are my touch-n-flow, a cheap pair reading glasses and sticky tack.
  10. looks great I love the jeager cars. I have an opel astra dtm that might get a jeager/red bull paint job. thats right a jeager blaster on wheels. casey
  11. oh man i love big ponchos. but in my book you have sinned the worst sin ever! not to worry i fixed it for you looks great love color combo!
  12. LOOKS ALL THE WAY! thats why I switched to cars from planes, most aircraft builders don't like it a whole lot when you paint your p-47 in ww2 navy tri-color camo cause it looks good. A much as i love planes i like the creativity cars allow. Casey
  13. I don't have this problem because in the six or so months i've been building autos i've yet to finish one I have a very bad case of A.D.H.D. I'm close to finishing three I think they are gonna end up on a book shelf in the bedroom. My plane are all hanging in a spare bedroom on in my grandpa's office at work.

  17. love the green! but what is a jood and and how does one keep their's from warping? sound painful
  18. is that testor's jade green metalic? did you prime it befor you spayed? keep up the good work on the goat. i'll try get you those paint drying box pics tomorrow.
  19. Oh I so hope he isn't kidding this is the best thing i've ever seen!
  20. Its just a three-way light socket out of a busted floor lamp, you can buy lamp kits that have the same socket and cord at wal-mart. if you need better pics let me know And just to let everyone know its working great! i also dried my walet in it that got washed last week
  21. So far so good works like a charm! The bulb is a three way 30-70-100. This was not by design but luck! I've covered the top of the box with tin foil to reflect the heat down onto the model and keep the box from warping. Doesn’t seem to get too hot so I think the thermometer is kind of overkill but, I’m also not gonna turn my back on it and leave it on all day while I’m at work… could still use some tweaking…
  22. Hey guys, Here is a box made out a plastic tub and old lamp to cure paint faster. I'm not sure if will work or not, but no big deal only took five minutes and was all stuff that was going in the trash. Casey
  23. WOW! One can never have to many ponchos, But I gotta see under the hoods. Nothing get me going like pontiac blue and a tri-power setup!!!!! Those look great!
  24. That would be why I am here. I wanted to be able to post with out somebody tearing me a new one for not spelling something right or or asking a question that someone else asked almost a year ago. I could never bring my self to post over there...... Casey
  25. The wire thing is a great idea, I'm sure you have saved me from lots of un-needed swearing tonight. I hope mine turns out as nice as yours. Casey
