  1. Won an ebay auction for this dodge bighorn, now i have to decide what engine and chassie i am going to use for it.
  2. I hope so but i dont think I will have time for it anytime soon. Maybe after a few years. Bought this today. I think it will look good next to my needle nose Peterbilt that i am going to build someday.
  3. Got the last parts i need from a&n to start building the w900 the way i would want one. Now i just need the time so i can start on it...
  4. I tried with a magnet bit that did nothing. Anyways i found them today when there was daylight. They were in the middle of the yard infront of the building where i park the tractor. They must have fallen out when i jumped out to open the doors to drive in and park the tractor. For some odd reason you have to have a permit to own or buy a metal detector here. So almost no one owns one. No highway near our house. Only a small village road that hardly gets plowed untill some of us that lives here decide to do it.
  5. Was out plowing our driveway with the tractor earlier today and when i was done an hour later i noticed that my keys had fallen out of the pocket in my jacket.. They are somewhere in one of the 4 piles that are 3x2meters big.... Wonder if i will ever find them or i have to wait untill spring when everything starts to melt..
  6. I think i will. I Belive it will be as good as my T610 and K200 from them. I was looking at the sleeper version but this will fit my plans better then that would have done. Right now i am thinking of adding the italeri crane and kfs hooklift to make it in to something i would want to have irl. The next i am going to buy from them is the Mack Titan they are working on right now.
  7. Bought this today. Have been thinking about it for a while now. Going to add a 3rd axle to it that I already have and was going to use on my T610 SAR Kenworth.
  8. I did not look ? I was surprised for a bit and then made a new but this time letting it stay on the bench untill i needed it?
  9. Every time i use superglue for photoetch or vinylhoses to simulate air or hydrualichoses i always end up with to much and then somehow i glue myself to the bench... Last time with photoetch i somehow lost a part and spent an hour looking for it. After i gave up and walked by a mirror i found the part i was looking for glued to my beard... Also accidently swallowed a vinylhose that was cut to the correct lenght when i was holding it with my mouth as i was holding the part it was going to in one hand and looking for the tweezer i needed to use for puttning the hose in the correct position...
  10. Thank you, i will Thank you, we hope that to. It is a little boring at the hospital with nothing to do, but it is for his health right now so nothing else matters. Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you I dont know if that ever was a tradition here, but there is no smoking allowed on the hospital grounds anyways. Thank you
  11. Not today but yesterday my son was born so I became a dad for the first time in my life. He was a little to early since he was due on the 18th december, everything is fine with him but we have to stay at the hospital for a few weeks now to make sure everything goes as planned with him. Because he was so early neither me or my girlfriend was prepared for this now, but we will figure it out somehow.
  12. A small update on this truck 4 years after is was done. It got damaged in the move i did last year and while i was repairing the things that broke i decided to add a trux front protection ( commonly called moose bumper in sweden). Also added 4 modern LED lights to it. Fun fact: Just a moose bumper mounted to a truck is not allowed here by those that performs the yearly inspections on every vehicle, but if you add lights to it then it is considered a light mount and completley okay by them. First i was thinking of building hinges for it so it could flip down allowing the hood to open but when i looked for something else in my box of parts i found a roll of magnetic tape. I cut 4 small pices of it to use on the bumper and truck and then put them on the bumper first to adjust the height and to find the location for them on the truck, then i just used superglue to get them where i wanted. The 2 black things on the truck bumper is the magnets that the moose bumper attaches to, also added som support behind the magnets on the truck to prevent them from folding down by the weight of the bumper over time. The Trux front protection and LED lights are from nordictruckdetails.
  13. Its not the Revell Renault Magnum AE "ice truck" you are thinking of?
  14. Dont know if this even belongs here, if not please move it to the right section I have had this Emek Ponsse Elephant for a while now and always thougt that i should make it look less like a toy then it does. I thougt it looked way to big for its scale in 1/25 but after looking up the dimensions on a real one it is a 1/25. This is what i have planed as a load for the trailer that is going to be pulled by my K100 triaxle. My plans are just to paint, fill out details make the grapple hook look like a real one to make it look less like a toy and add hydraulic lines to the crane and if i can get in to the cab without destroying it to add some details in there to. Here it is out of the box without its load of logs that comes with it
  15. I noticed that to when i built my K100 triaxle That kit is 1/25 and the W900 kit i used as a doner was also 1/25 but the frame and axles were smaller on the W900 compared to the K100.
  16. Thanks. Yes it does and right now i dont know where to place it. When and if it gets a trailer it will take up more space. Thanks. Thanks, yes it is a lot of truck. Thanks. Thanks. Thanks. Yes it turned out good, better then i had planed. Thanks, yes and not everything shows up good in the pic's. Hydraulic lines on the crane dont show that good even with the red paint on it. Thanks, glad you like it. Thanks.
  17. This is now done and in the under glass section.
  18. It is finally done after a few months. There are many Auslowe parts on it, parts from nordic truckdetails and a few AMT and Italeri parts on it to. The crane is from KFS and is fully movable. Fifth wheel is a ballrace fifthwheel from Auslowe. Wheels, tires, mudflaps, bullbar, rockguard, aircleaner setup, susiecoil, lights on the bullbar and rear fenders are from Auslowe. Decals are from the K100 kit exept the decal on the bullbar that i dont remember where i found it, i think it was included in the AMT IH transtar 4300 eagle kit. CAT 3408 engine is from a Revell W900 kit, the frame was extended with parts from the same kit, the extra front axle and rear driveaxle is also from that kit. Interior is kept box stock as it is not seen that much anyways. Most of the workllights are also from nordic truckdetails exept the lightbar on the top of the sleeper that is from one of the Italeri's accessorie kit's The toolboxes between the rear tires are from nordic truckdetails are borth working and full of tools. The tools in them and on the fenders comes from one of the Italeri accessorie kits.
  19. Thanks. Thanks. There are going to be a few more small things added to it before i call it complete. I think it is going to have a 5 or 6 axle flatbed behind it or a lowboy trailer but have not decided yet. If i go with the lowboy trailer i already have a load planned for it but i have to see if it looks good on it or it will be to big for it. There might be a pic of the planned lowboy load in the next update. Thanks. Thanks. Thanks.
  20. Finally had time to do something on this build now. The parts i ordered from Auslowe arrived and i could move forward. Added mudflaps, led worklights on the truck and crane put on a different pogostick with suziecoils to it, modified the kits rear lightbar to fit the over the VBG coupling. Also fitted the tires i ordered for this so now it does not have the italeri tires on the front axles. The led worklights are from nordic truck details and the chain on the bullbar i bought from a local craft and hobby store. It is getting close to be done now.
  21. Yes it is their new kit. I did not know anything extra was included when i bought it so it was a complete surprise for me.
  22. Thanks. The raindrops were accidental because it started to rain when i took the pictures of it. The Michelin mens are something that many trucks in the 80's and 90's had on them here.
  23. Bought these So i can build one of this, it is a Scania T Longline. I have only seen one of them out on the roads here and that was many years ago.
  24. I already have 30 tires left over from other 1/25 truck kits that i can use. They are from revells w900 and K100 kits and fit perfectly on the wheels in the volvo kit. Also got this kit just because i have never built a mercedes truck. Lets see if i can keep it stock or i end up modifying this to.
  25. I bought a new revell volvo F12 kit, this one does not have any shortshots. Only problem with this kit is that the tires have started to rot. Decals are bad in both kits. My plans for both of these kits are to build one box stock and modify the other to an Australian version with a flat roof instead of the globetrotter roof. It is going to look something like revells australian volvo F12. Have also ordered a few parts for that build from auslowe. The top pic is the new kit with bad tires, the bortom has good tires but a bad frame. Also got a gmc astro to go with my chevy titan. I think i am going to buy one more astro kit and put in the turbine engine in that.
