  1. Thanks guys, really appreciate it!
  2. Awesome King Tiger! You did a fantastic job on it. Well done!
  3. Thanks so much 👍
  4. Wild! Looks cool as heck! 👍👍
  5. Thank you guys. I’ve been to his museum 3 times myself, love the place. Yep Echo the Revell chrome is great. I get nice results from one mist coat, let it sit 15 or 20 minutes, then a heavier coat, all right over bare plastic. Tried a black base coat and didn’t notice any difference so why spend the extra time in my opinion 👍👍
  6. Nice! 👍👍
  7. Nice work and great job on saving them 👍
  8. Thanks! 👍
  9. Thanks so much! Yep the Revell Chrome is the best. A bit pricey but it goes a long way and looks better than anything else. It’s even just a bit more durable than Molotow etc. The best part is, you don’t need to dig out the airbrush, it’s fantastic right out of the can
  10. Thank you!
  11. Hi all…finished up a long project last night. Revell’s 1/16 Garlits ‘74. It’s box stock and it went well with a minimum of fuss thankfully. Revell Chrome Spray on a few pieces and the rear wheels. I’ve seen pics of the car with both black or red headers…not a fan of the red so I went with black. Tamiya paint and clear. Some Testors metallizer too. The frame was very straight out of the box and the panels lined up great with no fuss…lucked out I guess lol. Thanks for looking and all comments are appreciated. 😊😊👍👍
  12. Well…I’ve been able to have time to finish this up! Panels on and some touch ups here and there and I’m declaring it finished! There’s always a couple things that we wish we’d have done differently but I’m happy with it for sure. Check out lots more pics in the Drag section! Thanks 😊
  13. Thanks guys….it’s been a long process but it’s getting really fun now that I’m close to finishing
  14. Well, I’ve made great progress this week and weekend. Everything is plumbed up and we’re up on wheels and tires! Super exciting when that happens. Not far to go now, but I probably won’t have a lot of time at the work bench during this week. Everything has gone pretty well to this point…..it’s making me nervous that a bomb is going to drop on it at the finish line lol 😂
  15. Looking great! Man I don’t think there’s anything cooler than Landys cars, especially the 68’s 👍
  16. A bit more progress this weekend. Got some paint on the panels a few days ago, and did some decal work yesterday. I will clear them in a couple days. I’ve been able to get quite a few odds and ends trimmed out and painted too over the last few days. 👍
  17. Great detail and it looks fantastic! Nicely done 👍
  18. Looks good! I’d leave it too 😝
  19. Such impressive work, really amazing. 👍👍
  20. Thanks for the kind words, these Revell 1/16 are great kits, so much fun. You’ll enjoy it. So far, the kit has given me very minimal issues 👍
  21. A couple of beautiful cars….very nice work!
  22. Thanks! I’m looking forward to it too. Fun kit!
  23. Hi all. I’ve been slowly working on the Revell 1/16 Garlits rear engine dragster for several weeks but not able to have much time. But I’ve been on vacation the last week and have hit it hard. In the pics you’ll see the frame done, engine done and a test fit before running all the lines etc. So far it’s gone together with a minimum of fuss. I’m going totally box stock, as I did with my Tony Nancy rail last year. Back to work tomorrow 😝 so there won’t be a lot of progress til next weekend most likely. My blower belt is made from Gorilla black tape with some Tamiya flat black brushed on. I love how easy it is and it looks great 👍
