  1. Well…I’ve been able to have time to finish this up! Panels on and some touch ups here and there and I’m declaring it finished! There’s always a couple things that we wish we’d have done differently but I’m happy with it for sure. Check out lots more pics in the Drag section! Thanks 😊
  2. Thanks guys….it’s been a long process but it’s getting really fun now that I’m close to finishing
  3. Well, I’ve made great progress this week and weekend. Everything is plumbed up and we’re up on wheels and tires! Super exciting when that happens. Not far to go now, but I probably won’t have a lot of time at the work bench during this week. Everything has gone pretty well to this point…..it’s making me nervous that a bomb is going to drop on it at the finish line lol 😂
  4. Looking great! Man I don’t think there’s anything cooler than Landys cars, especially the 68’s 👍
  5. A bit more progress this weekend. Got some paint on the panels a few days ago, and did some decal work yesterday. I will clear them in a couple days. I’ve been able to get quite a few odds and ends trimmed out and painted too over the last few days. 👍
  6. Great detail and it looks fantastic! Nicely done 👍
  7. Looks good! I’d leave it too 😝
  8. Such impressive work, really amazing. 👍👍
  9. Thanks for the kind words, these Revell 1/16 are great kits, so much fun. You’ll enjoy it. So far, the kit has given me very minimal issues 👍
  10. A couple of beautiful cars….very nice work!
  11. Thanks! I’m looking forward to it too. Fun kit!
  12. Hi all. I’ve been slowly working on the Revell 1/16 Garlits rear engine dragster for several weeks but not able to have much time. But I’ve been on vacation the last week and have hit it hard. In the pics you’ll see the frame done, engine done and a test fit before running all the lines etc. So far it’s gone together with a minimum of fuss. I’m going totally box stock, as I did with my Tony Nancy rail last year. Back to work tomorrow 😝 so there won’t be a lot of progress til next weekend most likely. My blower belt is made from Gorilla black tape with some Tamiya flat black brushed on. I love how easy it is and it looks great 👍
  13. Both are beautiful! Very nicely done 👍
  14. Clean work! Looks great 👍
  15. Yes thanks….I’ve used it before with great results, but a couple of times the decals were just too old so I’ve got reproductions on order to be safe 👍
  16. Thanks, I’m happy and excited for it 👍
  17. Yes I’ve learned that it was offered in stock form too 👍
  18. Sounds right, instructions and decal sheets say 1975 👍
  19. Thanks much! I’ll look into it 👍👍
  20. Yes, smart! I’ll do that 👍
  21. Wow looks great! Gotta love Landys paint schemes! 👍👍
  22. Yep gonna build it! I gave 100 for it, walked out with 25 still in my wallet at the end of the day. Gonna be fun!! Just hoping that the decals are OK
  23. Hi guys…picked this up at a swap earlier today. I’ve never seen it, hit the google machine on my phone and not much came up about it. Box has a little fade and some mild tape marks on it but it looks totally complete and the decals are super nice…hopefully some decal saver will keep them that way lol. It’s marked 1975. I know about the real car but never knew this kit existed for some reason. But man the box art was too cool to resist. I had 125 bucks and walked away with the kit and a good chunk of my money still in my pocket. Going to be fun to build I think! Anybody have one built up or still unbuilt?
  24. Gorgeous. Hard color combo to beat 👍
