  1. I really Need to Highlight My Name Better. I am Gabriel, I happen to live in Gilbert. LOL
  2. Anne use whatever paint you have, thin it down to a very runny consistency. Flat black works well for those U-joints, for example brush some into the crevices let it flow, and you will see start to fill the voids it make take one or more applications, wipe away any excess with some of the thinner. When I do this, I like to use a laguer as a base, then an acrylic for a wash. Then if you dont like it you can just wash it away with some water, and start all over again.
  3. I have two of these kits and both need hedders

  12. The Exacto knife edge is pretty good for starting out. Use a blade with a broken tip, and use the dull back side, gently pull along the panel line to establish a pattern. On a 1/25 scale model it takes me about 3 to 4 passes on a 1/16 probably double that.
  13. Is there a guide here showing where to make the cuts to reduce a long bed pickup to a Shortbed version on the AMT 72 PU? My L.B. is a scale 8ft bed the S.B. is usually 6ft. I need to eliminate about 15/16" overall from the center to make it work.
  14. Nice build. are you going to open the doors? In post #18 it shows the firewall fitted flush with the body, in post #28 it shows the firewall moved forward some with styrene across the top. Kind of a large gap what happened? what were those Nubs sanded off from were they part of the AMT kit or the Revell? By the way the Stance ,wheels, grille, engine detail, and all that under hood detail is CHA Ching.
  15. I like the AMT 62 Impala for a stock look and the 64 if you want some custom parts
  16. If you are going to use a waterbased paint you need a waterbased primer as well. The aqueous paints do not adhere well to laquer primer
  17. My local hobby shop had two on the shelf yesterday
  18. Monogram kitted one in 1/24 scale with a straight axle and tilt front end
