  1. Anne MCG refers to Model Car Garage, Photoetched detail set.
  2. I dont know in your state. in Arizona I do not believe it does. The only thing that limits the mileage is recreational vehicles, which has to be done through the insurance compay. You can effectively modify a current year vehicle, and have it deemed recreational status, and legally drive it on the street as long as you dont exceed the miles.
  3. Harry it's based on population density and regional factors. I live in the Valley of the sun, keyword Valley. Its a great place to be from,I have seen pollution steadily rise thoughout my 48 years of being here, we used to have beautiful skies, open land, Now we have a brown cloud over us, and lots of cars, and construction. The only times We see a true blue sky is when you go out of town, or when it rains. If it happens to rain, you end up fighting your Allergies. Which is kind of Ironic, since this used to be the place where people would come to for Asthma relief. I don't think Emission testing is a Joke. Especially when my wife has an asthma attack.
  4. My thought is skip the Enamel use Tamiya flat red. Acrylic then dullcote
  5. I like Duplicolor gloss black
  6. One thing to consider when buying a lathe is tooling most of the time that's not included and if your not buying a current version Where tooling is available it can become difficult to obtain and very costly
  7. Anne now you can use your favorite paint remover and do it all over again
  8. It depends on what stage you are at in the build, If you have just started, then you can attempt to get the frame back to where it is supposed to be. If your at the completion stage, then you should have "test fitted everything before you got to this point". Then you will have to make adjustments at the wheel backing plates, enlarging the mounting holes will allow you to move the wheel up or down where you need it to be.
  9. Here they only test Cars in the "Containment area" which is the Phoenix metropolitan area Primarily, and the Tucson sector. In Tucson the region is different "not located in a Valley" so they only check for three pollutants and Non intrusive test on OBD models
  10. Why did you wait until the end of the month. When the lines are going to be ridiculously long. What kind of car do you have Harry? In my state new cars dont have to be tested for the first 5 years after that its only every two years. & It was just announced this week, that sulphur is going to be eliminated from the gasoline blend reducing Emissions by 30% est and raising fuel price by 10 cents per gal.
  11. I like everything about this build, Great Job.
  12. if you use the bend your own brass hinge method, you can kink the wire before you insert into the brass tube.
  13. Probably Revell malibu SS pro street, or Revell 67 malibu, or just Malibu1/25 scale should do it.

  15. Very Exciting this could be a kit of the year Smash. I would like to see some west coast style mirrors for the long bed, and possibly the a start solenoid next to the battery.

  17. Very Cool indeed
  18. Anne try to minimize the use of filler when you can.For example if you are fillng a hole, use some stretched sprue glued in place then cut and sanded. or if you are filling a seam carve it out some fill it with strip plastic, use the Tenax,Ambroid, Weld on, or whatever you have to soften, and melt the strip in place. After they dry they sand out just fine. You can Improvise a little and use superglue mixed with a little baking soda, make a paste out of it,smear some on,sand when dry, and it works well.
  19. X2 on this I have both of those as well as a few others the Badger is very dependable and has a great warranty, the Neo is new to me but works well and was a steal with the 40% off.
