  1. The Neo, by Iwata comes in a gravity fed model too. about $45.00 with a Hobby Lobby 40% off coupon, It is a double action, not one that I would recomend for a beginner, although it does work well once you get thee hang of it. As for a beginner A.B. Badger 200 is my preference, about $80.00 avg range, it is a suction fed brush that does very well, and will out perform the 350 any day.It features easy cleaning, well balanced, and lifetime warranty teflon seals.Usually found at Michaels craft stores and they have a 50% coupon offer from time to time. Use that logic on the Wife, they love a bargain especially when you just surprise them with it, and just show up with it. Kinda like a new pair of shoes.
  2. Looking Good, and best of luck at the show.
  3. You made the door opening and hinges look Super Simple. Cool
  4. I had a motorized version of one of those.made by COX that used to just scoot.Back in the early 70's
  5. I've been reading a lot of threads here and elsewhere discussing homemade spray booth solutions. A common comment in the vast majority of these threads is the warning that using the wrong kind of fan is dangerous due to explosive hazard. Ok, I get that there IS a hazard. But then, there's hazard in most everything we do. So my question is, has anybody personally experienced an explosion/flashback scenario while using something like a bathroom fan in a home made spray booth? Or is there reliable documentary evidence of this happening? By the way, it's not my intentional to be confrontational in asking this question. I have seen the risk expressed many times, but I don't recall anyone relating personal anecdotes substantiating the concerns so I start wondering if it is a myth repeated so often as to be assumed true or is based on substantive personal experience. Thanks Clay, you could contact the Individual who originally posted the story, from the link Bill has posted. On the behalf of Anthony Oteri, and get the story firsthand from him. That may convince you that the hazards are real, or myth.
  6. You might try looking at a newer released 68 firebird kit. Revell did two versions stock/drag, that kit might have what you need.
  7. Yeah I like this whole car
  8. This is such a true statement !
  9. I roll my hobby knife over it. Several times and flip it over every few times on a flat surface.also try rolling in different directions just like using a rolling pin.
  10. You might be thinking of Accupro. MCG did some grilles but they were custom styles, and one version that was chopped. In my memory, which is fading very quickly.
  11. Does the company you work go make parts for models?
  12. There are many choices when airbrush shopping.look for quality, and how its fits you for comfort.
  13. 30 years old. That model does'nt look a day over one week, Congratulations Nice Job.
  14. That is just beautiful. Congratulations on a fantastic job.
  15. It's a modified reissue. That was released in 1975 as shown on the box labeling, If you like a challenge, then this is certainly one you dont want to miss. true there are better, more modern kits out there, but this one is a definite Oldie but a Goodie. you are most likely to encounter many sink marks, and some extra plastic flash, along with those ill fitting doors. probably nothing you cant handle I am sure.
  16. That humidity is very brutal. The 105 temp like Danno. said is an overnight low here.
  17. Very cool. I would like to how it looks On an actual model.
  18. I would like to have an excavator,or a swat/UPS! Cargo van. Tractors are even ok with me I would build one to put on my lowboy.
  19. YAY! are you kidding me. It's the best of both worlds
  20. They would handle. So much better than the original stock suspension setup's.
  21. If you are going to redo the chrome I would just put in the purple pond for a few days
  22. I don't have a taig. I could get you a picture of the factory though, they are located about 6 miles away from me in Chandler Az. Down a little dirt road, at a rambling farm house. With two scaled down Cannons at the front entrance. Just sayin.
